Senoj Salon in Bloomington, IN

I've made a total of two appointments at this salon, and have been canceled on a total of 3 times (once for the first visit and twice for the second) and asked to wait a full week in between each cancelation. Just a warning if you have an event coming up anytime soon... it seems they don't keep appointments very well.

Was one of my favorite salons, but I've had one too many issues regarding prices being jacked up or services being added by some stylists without my knowledge or permission. One time, I had one of the stylists add on a service without asking me, rather she TOLD me this is what I'm going to do, so at the counter when I found out my total was $50 more than usual, well yes I was pretty upset. However, the owner was very apologetic about it when I emailed that night, and offered a refund for that specific service I was charged for which I appreciated greatly. But recently, I was quoted $50 an hour for a color appointment, but knowing my past, I called a day ahead only to find out that the stylist had actually jacked the price up to $130-$200 an hour... without bothering to mention it to me. Not sure when I was supposed to find out about that.. perhaps at the counter when I'd have no choice but to pay? lol

I will say the salon itself is good at what they do and in the past, they've done an amazing job with my hair, especially after I had a botched dye job that ruined my hair! However, I would just double-check prices with your stylist beforehand and make sure you're on the same page.

This salon is amazing! Brooklyn fixed my hair color that was botched by another salon and it looks absolutely beautiful. All of the staff were so incredibly nice and helpful, especially the owner, Elizabeth. Wonderful experience - can't recommend enough!

Seriously the best salon I've ever been to. I discovered Alex at Senoj while I was in college in Bloomington and I have loved my hair every time I go to her! The girl knows what she is doing when it comes to blonde balayage!

The people who work here are so kind. They are very transparent about pricing and their additional cost services which I love because I know exactly what I am paying for. The value of the salon experience is top tier. I especially love the Milkshake products they use, they smell so good and leave my hair in amazing condition.

I recently got my hair cut and dyed from here. My stylist was Miranda and she did an AMAZING job. Im absolutely obsessed with it! She was super polite and really helped me figure out the exact details of the cut. I will absolutely be coming back and I highly recommend this place.
