Whenever i'm in bloom for school i always come here. she always does an amazing job and is super friendly, i highly recommend her to all my friends. she has tons of experience, and does men and women's hair. i'm a guy and for a full service hair cut will cost 30 + tip. i would definitely say it's worth it.
Worst experience in few years. It takes 3 minutes to finish the haircut. Left side shorter than right. Even leave my hair wet to save time for another customer. Hair was all over my neck. Won't take credit card. Only accept venmo or zelle.

She has been my stylist for 11 years and going strong. At first, I was only looking for a haircut in Bloomington but nobody I trusted then cared about cutting my hair, Worst, was when the wanna-be beautician put a bowl on my head and cut my hair straight. Hopeless. But since I visited Young for the first time, I never looked back except to chuckle at the bums who pretend that they can emulate the skillful artistry. But if you are looking for stylists who can change your hair to look and feel like your favorite certain celebrities, do not think that she will force it on your hair. If you are looking for the cheapest stylist who sits you down, cuts your hair short, and charges $8, go to NYC, I recommend it. She recognizes that the different textures of hair and styles with the individual characteristics of scalps. I do not trust any other stylists in Bloomington to do my hair.
Now I can tell that not everyone is keen on how unique your hair is and someone sometimes wants their hair to look like certain someone because it never did, that is fair. Someone who cares about working WITH your hair as much as Young does, maybe ask other stylists who will comply with your demands.
The best value stylist in town. Mrs. Young's is the best place to go if you need styling that is unique to your anatomy. She cares about our hair and works with our unique hair, not against it. She also does my boyfriend's hair and styles him great every time. She's super nice too! We always leave with a smile on our face!
