Super nice people, great price, but eveytime i leave, i need to fix my hair myself (add my own hair products and bobby pins). Last straw was I needed a simple style for my birthday (which i used to get constantly before I moved and showed her how my stylist used to do it with my own pics and a celeb pic where I got the idea) and ended up looking like Nelly from little house on the prairie. Had to waste an hour of my time redoing my hair myself.
In light of obtaining a Groupon for a gel manicure and it being located close to home, i decided to give this place a try. I was able to get a same day appointment when I called which was a plus. Parking in the back was ample. However, the inside of this hair/nail salon looks like it's never been remodeled and still maintained its 70s style, wood paneling and all. The ladies were all super nice and my nail girl was also very sweet. Unfortunately, the manicure itself was spotty such that it is clear that the manicure will not last more than a few days. With gel, I always expect it to last at least a week and sometimes close to the two weeks that are promised. I am attaching a photo to my review it now being two days after my manicure. I will not be back because I know I can find a better place despite the fact that it will cost a bit more.
I will never go here again. Worst experience ever. I got the SNS nails by Jackie. This was my first time going to Sam Laurenz. I was excited to try the SNS. She rushed through the whole process!! SNS is a powder dip for your nails. She left all of the the powder around my nails. She did not clean up once the job was done. I was so disappointed. It looked like I did the nails on my own. I am not one to write reviews but I just could not stop thinking how poorly the job was done. I went somewhere else, paid extra 5 dollars and my nails came out flawless.
