Salon Zen in Santa Clarita, CA

I cannot say enough about Jillian as a hairstylist and such a great person. I've been getting my hair done for about 10 years now and I stumbled upon her as a referral from a friend of mine around 6 or so months ago and I couldn't be happier. My hair always turns out great and I'm always happy when I leave. She's super sweet and there's always great conversation. I highly recommend her, you'll be so pleased! Also she is always up to date on styles and colors and will go over her honest recommendations with you and refer to picture you send her. The place seems odd at first because of the location but it's very clean and serene.

One of my best weaves ever! Love the color. Jill really knows what she is doing, she is a great listener and expert with color/tones. She is super sweet as well. After looking for somebody who used Schwartzkopf color for about a year I found Salon Zen on Yelp and I wasn't disappointed. I got a fantastic weave and great haircut. She styles perfectly too. I am so excited to have found somebody close to me (I am in the SF Valley). Perfect!!

If you're looking for the haircut of your life, this is where you need to be. I've stayed away from hair salons for the past 5 years because I never wanted to spend money on something I could do myself - yes, I literally cut my own hair. To be fair, I also didn't spend much time brushing it, either. But then I met Jillian (who is also my training partner), and she absolutely transformed me. She turned my mop of a head to a beautifully layered, beachy wave cut - I was so shocked, I really almost cried. So, you know, aside from the outrageous talent, she also treats you like an old friend when she's doing your do. That's always a major plus because it's awkward having a stranger touching your tresses. Moral of the story: ALWAYS go to Jillian for your hair woes. Always.

Jill is amazing, friendly, courteous, and professional. I will never go anywhere else for a cut. I've never found a woman who can cut my hair properly until now. I tell everyone who is looking for a stylist to try her and everyone of my friends that have gone to her say the exact same thing. Give her a chance and you will be very thankful you did.

Jillian has been my hairstylist for several years. She is always friendly and welcoming. Her salon has a relaxed feel to it, which I appreciate. At the least, Salon Zen deserves a 4-star rating. I give it a 5 because of Jillian's talent and personality. I always get compliments on my hair when I step out of her salon. Also, since finding her, I have moved out of Santa Clarita. Now, I drive 40 miles to get my hair cut.
