C'est L'amour Nail in Santa Clarita, CA

The place is nice and clean. My nail polish lasted a while which was nice. The only thing is that part of what I paid for included a massage. I basically just got touched and no massage actually happened.

I have going to this nail salon for over 10 ten years and have never complained about anything, ever. Yesterday I had the worst experience. The nail technician cut my toe so badly she struggled to make it stop bleeding. Perhaps this threw her off because she forgot the paraffin. Then for the manicure she filed the nails kind of crooked. (Slow down and take a minute to check to be sure they are even and straight). I took the nail file and fixed them. She did not seem happy about that. The pedicure that was supposed to last 45 minutes lasted just shy of a half hour. When I told the manager Christine that the paraffin was forgotten she said it wasn't-how could she know?! So I said yes, it was. Christine asked the nail technician and she produced two used paraffin bags from the trash. So Christine refused to believe me. Wow, what horrid loyalty to the people who are regular customers. I will be looking for a new nail salon. What a shame that I have given them over a decade of my life.

Literally cannot say enough terrible things about this place. Go to the other locations - avoid this one at all costs. Every single time I have gone here they have cut me and sliced me with the nail files. Not worth the money and the salon is starting to look like it is falling apart. Most of the pedicure chairs are broken, the polish is old and the selection is so limited. Every time I do gel it lifts in days. Terrible.

I do not usually complain about nail salons even if the quality isn't good, but this one needs a warning. My nail technician for my manicure was Ivy, she did not care for the pain she caused me. She was drilling my nails and drilled my skin as well. When I complained that it was painful, she brushed off what I said and replied, "only a little bit of pain for a little longer." This is not normal. My skin is raw, irritated, and swollen. On top of that, the shape is horrible. Also, I got Gel x, at every other salon they cut your own nails prior to gluing the gel x. Not sure if the process is different here, but Ivy did not cut my nails. Once I realized she was finished, I asked if she could clean up the glue from underneath the nail and Ivy look confused, made an attempt, hurt me under my nails also and didn't even remove the glue. I ended up having to remove the glue myself at home.

As a walk in customer, I was attended right away and was given excellent care. I got a pedicure and stayed after for a set of acrylic nail set. Amazing service! Definitely recommend.
