I love this place! Clean and modern, friendly staff. It's BEHIND Plato's Closet, so it doesn't stand out unfortunately. I had Jena do my hair and love it. When you schedule an appt, you get a reminder text, which is nice.
Tracy did my root touch up. She is very pleasant and did exactly as I asked. I had a Groupon for root touch up, wash and style. She asked twice if I needed a trim. I said not really unless there is something egregious I can't see. Says yes you need it. 1/2 inch 3 minutes and finished. Wet hair. Says it is an extra $30 for the cut. ??????? Another lady came up said $20 was fine. Well, you just collected your tip. No, I am not going to pay extra for a straighting up of 1/4 to 1/2 inch. It was not a style or cut. Not again. Ask how much anything might be in advance. Not good business practice to do that .
Tracy did a fine job with my color and cut, but I used a groupon (for a root touch up and 'style' which I took to mean cut as another option was for a 'cut, wash and blow dry' - what else could 'style' mean?) and my total cost (including a 15% tip) was nearly triple the amount expected. I was additionally charged for the cut and for a rinse to even out my hair with no prior notification. I'm happy with my hair, but not with the experience, so I can't go back.
I am always so happy with the service provided by my stylist Michele and Shannon at Salon Seven. They are very accommodating to my schedule and to my crazy hair. I love my girls at the salon!
