Jalen is amazing! I had a really bad experience prior to her. She listened, worked hard to get me the results I wanted, and I can't wait to see her again.

I don't normally write reviews, but I had to come on here and say just how great of a job my stylist Becky did on my brows. They look better than they've EVER looked. I've also had my hair done here, I don't remember if it was Becky or somebody else, but either way, they did a great job.

I recently went to Salon Rouge for my first Deva Curl cut and I was really nervous about getting it done because I'm new to embracing my naturally curly/wavy hair. Needless to say, I am thrilled with the results. Becky was my certified Deva Cut hair stylist, and my hair has NEVER looked better. She was highly knowledgeable and shared tips throughout the experience. Even on the phone when I booked the appointment, the lady I spoke to was very informative and thorough. Online I read that Deva Curl cuts are extremely expensive, but Salon Rouge kept the cut at a fair price. It is more expensive than a regular cut, but that is to be expected because it is not your average hair cut. I will absolutely be going back to this salon in the future! They use Deva Curl products at their salon, so you don't have to worry about harsh products being used on your hair. Becky was very personable and friendly. I can happily say my experience here was one of the best salon experiences I've ever had!

Salon Rouge creates a warm, welcoming vibe as soon as you enter the door. They offer a multitude of services. I'm impressed with the age-range of customers; from teens and kids to older women - and the stylists' skills address the diverse needs of these different age groups. They offer tea or coffee as soon as you arrive. It's also nice to see men as well as women in the Salon. The music is great - not that overly-loud, pumping music I was used to in New York City. While the vibe is not about rushing you, they are professional and get the job done is an fast as possible. I have been going there for 8 years. It's a great place. And there is *never* any high drama among staff. (Again, this is something one comes to expect in Manhattan - it's as if you're not getting the full deal unless there's some gossip, anger, or blow-up happening among diva stylists; not calming!) Salon Rouge, in contrast, is like a refuge, a calm, relaxed, quiet place.
i saved my most important comments til the end: *TARA* is an amazing colorist & stylist. She's sharp and extremely skilled; she's like a scientist or alchemist, the way she mixes color! She listens carefully and helps me get exactly the look I want. When I'm not sure, she calmly offers suggestions - which have turned out great every time. She possesses an ease which can be deceptive - because she's always thinking, always envisioning the look she wants to create.

I lived in south bend a few years back and always came here. This salon has always given me a great haircut. I have very thick hair and it's a bit challenging to cut, but I've always been satisfied with the cuts I've gotten at salon rouge.

This is the second time I've had to have them fix my hair due to a botched job elsewhere. I got my hair cut out in California before moving back to SB. Due to the fact that I just had a baby and stay at home with her and a less than attention-to-detailed husband, I didn't realize how terrible of a haircut I had!

I returned to salon rouge to fix said awful haircut and Jessica did an amazing job. She was very honest with the state of my hair and did everything she could to rescue my locks-- which she did. I now have a sexy "mom" cut-- not a "I don't own a hand mirror" mom cut. ‍thank you, Jessica!
