Salon Ros in Austin, TX

I've been a client since October 2023 and got a color correction for long black roots and dyed the roots blonde and left the rest of my hair red. It looked great but I had issues with banding when getting root touch ups but was able to come in and get it corrected free of charge by the stylist. I had an appointment for 12:15 PM on March 29th and arrived at 12:27 PM. When I sat down I was informed by the stylist that she "felt bad" about me having to come in to get the banding issue corrected previously so she needed to reschedule my appointment so as not to "compromise the integrity" of her work. I have a vacation for April 2nd and my hair has 7 weeks of root growth so now I need to find a stylist who likely won't be able to see me before I leave and may be booked weeks in advance. I felt really embarrassed because even though I was 12 minutes late, my appointment was cancelled and it was presented as if it were for my benefit even though I was looking forward to this all week and was going to leave a bigger tip to make up for the 12 minutes. For background, my appointment was at 2:30 PM and I moved it up in time the day prior on March 28th because the receptionist said the stylist was free the whole morning before my original 2:30 PM appointment. I'm going to drive 45 minutes back to Round Rock (my stylist knows I have a long drive to and from the salon) super embarrassed and will try to find a new colorist who isn't booked weeks in advance. My vacation hair will not have refreshed roots and a new moneypiece like I was looking forward to Positives are that the ambiance is nice and that there is free wine offered. If it weren't for this occurrence I would continue to come back.

I've been seeing Madelon for years and cannot say enough great things. She's the only person who was able to give me the actual red hair I'd been chasing for so long. She is the only person I will ever trust to give me a proper shag cut. The salon itself is so beautiful and calming.

Loved my cut with Chelsea! I consider myself fairly easy to please when it comes to stylists, but I was ecstatic when Chelsea styled my hair exactly like I've asked stylists to do in the past and actually got what I wanted. I always assumed either my hair "wouldn't do" what I wanted, or that I wasn't asking right, but she understood and styled it exactly like I wanted. The salon is clean and relaxing and the front desk is always friendly. I'll definitely be back!

I was at a loss for a hairdresser I could trust when I first moved to austin. I went a month without a haircut until I found Chiaki online through social media. When I called the salon I was instantly booked for the morning of the next day. The front desk greeted me with water immediately after checking me in. Chiaki was patient, friendly, & truly her time to discuss my hair needs throughout the entire appointment. I never once felt uncomfortable & left with one of the best hair cuts I've ever received with 30 minutes (cut, wash, & style included). DEFINITELY book here!
