Got Nails in Austin, TX

Sloppy paint on my toenails, no attention to details. Extra charge for callous removal. Not a pleasant experience. Will not return.

Love this family owned nail shop. They are super sweet and personable and do a great job for a reasonable price. I always have a good experience.

Avoid this place at all cost. I arrived and was greeted and asked for a full set. I was told it would be 45 min because there wasxno one availableto do my nails. No problem. As I was waiting one of the workers left and all of a sudden this lady comes from the back and finishes that customer. She cleans up and then walks to the back. Meanwhile it has been over 45 min and I'm watching her walk around in the back. Another customer walks in asks for pedicure ans she qouted 15 min. Meanwhile another customer walks in he told her 45 min which she decided not to stay. The lady from the back walks up to the lady who wanted the pedicure and told her she was ready. When I said I was just going to leave all of a sudden oh yeah I just told him to help yWhile I telling the guy I was leaving the rude worker starts telling me we are getting to you. I explained to him I'm just going to leave because it's just not right that I have been sitting here here for over 45 min waiting and this lady walks in (who happens to be white) and is served right away. Then the rude guys (gestures with his hand as if to wave me off) and said "you can go". First of all sir you don't/can't dismiss me. Second I was extremely nice probably more than I should have been. Third its sad that a lady was complaing the guy was cutting her with the drill and didnt care. Fourth it's a shame because I been here many times and to be treated in this way is upsetting. They must have changed management. Well when you know better you do better. I will gladly take my business and money somewhere else and you should too.

Unfortunately I've been here twice & have been dissatisfied both times. First time I got gel polish. Went home & had bubbles in my nails from the polish not curing correctly. Went back the next day & and had it fixed, with no problem I was satisfied. Decided to go back in after a while to give them another try bc they are very close to my apartment. I got acrylics, with an almond shape, & French tips. My nail tech was a male. Although he was nice, my nails are absolutely terrible. Every nail has a completely shape, they are all different lengths & look lopsided. I've never had french tips that looked that bad. The artwork looked rushed and was uneven on EVERY SINGLE NAIL. ( I went in at lunch time to avoid my set being rushed) The acrylic under my nails was not filed down correctly so there are HUGE LUMPS under my nails that I did not notice until I got in the car to leave. I decided to not even go back in because while I was there I asked for some sticker designs, not once but THREE TIMES. I asked BEFORE the top coat was put on. He said okay but still proceeded to put the last coat on and told me to sit at the drying table. So I asked AGAIN if I could put sticker designs. All he did was point to the table. I figured we would do it after they dried ( and was left there for 15mins without anyone coming to check on me) I got up on my own & went back to his station thinking we were going to put them on. He said we were all done and walked to the front to check me out. I hate confrontation & felt like this is something I should've only had to ask for ONCE. Not 3 separate times. I was so fed up I just decided to leave and never return. I immediately went to a salon down the street to have the polish removed & redone, along with the shaping. They did a much nicer job. Will not be returning & don't recommend to even give this place a try. There are surrounding salons that are WAY better.

This was my go to place. But when I called today to schedule an appointment and was told they are so short staffed that they would only take walk ins and would not be scheduling appointments. Disappointing.
