Had my first experience at Salon Prive yesterday and will definitely be back. I had a facial with Elizabeth and she was kind and informative while making it fun. She also walked me through a skin care routine to help with acne and scarring. Looking forward to seeing the progress!
Horrible experience. Do not recommend this place. I called and booked 2 appointments for full back waxing at the price of $30-35 for my sister and I. I've gotten waxed before so I know what to expect. However, when I arrived and went into the room to get waxed I came to find that I was not getting waxed but was getting hair removal done with a different method with a BFF (buff) hair removal pads. I was not told over the phone this was the method being used when I had booked for a WAX. I asked as many questions before the buffing began that I could think of. I was confused but open to trying it. The hair removal itself felt like sand paper rubbing against your skin. Not too fun but tolerable. I began to bleed a little due to the roughness of the method. And minutes after the hair removal my whole back was burning. I was told it would stop burning and be fine in a few minutes.So I kept an open mind. I was charged $40. It wasn't the price I was told over the phone. I was told the hair wouldn't come back for a couple of weeks(equivalent time to waxing). However the hair came back within 2-3 days. And my sister and I had visible burns on our backs for at least a month or 2. We took photos 1-2 weeks after not seeing any healing in the burns. We tried to contact the person who gave us the 'wax' and left messages. But no calls were returned. It was a waste of money since the hair came back at the time it would from shaving. And we basically paid $40 each for getting back burns. Worst experience ever.
Relaxing and rejuvenating! Love the owner. Skin felt wonderful. No pressure to buy product (although I did), received lots of samples. Can't wait for my next facial.
