Salon LDJ in Pleasant View, TN

If you want to feel ignored, dismissed, and generally not listened to then this is the salon for you! Photo: what I asked for (left) vs what I got (right). I had gone in for color and trim, I asked for blonde with red highlights. My hair was already primarily blonde. I was serviced by an inexperienced stylist who colored all my hair red, with the exception of just a few tiny blonde highlights that are almost imperceptible. Literal opposite of what I wanted. She also cut it unevenly. To the owners credit, she did offer me to come back into the salon to fix it, but at that point trust had already been lost and I'd already felt invalidated several times (I had brought up concerns about the uneven cut and undesirable dark color during the appointment itself, and my concerns were quickly dismissed). The service was also $200 which is standard, but that's not a fair price for the literal opposite of what I asked. All I want is a partial refund, but that was refused. It would take more time and resources for the owner to fix it than it would to just refund my money.

Such a beautiful salon and Stayce is an amazing hairdresser. Listens to the needs of her clients and I always come out with fabulous hair :)

Did not cut my hair like I asked, wanted it below my shoulders which would have been about 5" off....when she was done it was above my shoulders, at least 8" cut off.  I'm very unhappy, thankfully hair grows back. However, I don't believe I will be returning to this salon. I had such high hopes after reading reviews in various places.
