My first haircut was at Salon La Terre, and I haven't gone anywhere since. Amazing atmosphere and amazing stylists (My stylist is Tracy, yet everyone else is extremely talented) Also their selection of products works great for my curly hair, with many choices, as well as great gifts! I've gotten my hair dyed, chopped, trimmed and styled here. They do it all, and extremely well.
I just got my hair cut by Tron. I showed her a couple pictures and she knew exactly what to do, gave me the exact haircut I wanted. She checked in with me about what she was doing multiple times during the cut. She didn't try to push her own idea of what should be done with my hair on me and was easy to talk to. I'll definitely be back! thanks Tron!
I've been coming to this salon since I moved to the neighborhood 3 years ago, and I'll probably never go anywhere else as long as I live in Minneapolis. I'm the type of person who can only make appointments a day in advance, and they are always able to fit me in. I've had my hair cut by Tom twice now and he's done a beautiful job both times. Once for a major trim that my hair desperately needed, and recently for an entirely new style for me involving lots of layers. My hair is coarse and thick and wavy (and it's seen lots of sub-par haircuts in its day) and yet Tom always cuts it so expertly that it always lays just perfectly without any blow-drying or styling. In my experience, it takes a hairdresser that really knows what they're doing to layer my hair and blend the layers so that it looks amazing with little to no effort on my part. Not to mention, he has such a pleasant demeanor while he works on my hair. I'm so glad I found this salon and that I can put full trust and confidence in Tom's expertise when my hair needs a fresh cut.
Originally it was the location that got me to La Terre, but ultimately I've stuck with this salon even though it's not quite as convenient for me as it used to be. Super great vibe and extremely accommodating. Tracy runs a fantastic salon!
