Salon Gratto in Kansas City, MO

Unfortunately, the hair stylist that cut my hair over-reacted at my attempt to laugh at my own bad hair ('I have the most god-awful hair ever created').  Apparently, she took it as an affront at her hair cutting ability.  (I loved my hair cut and told the stylist multiple times before I left her.  We even hugged when I left, I was so excited with my new cut!!)  This all happened in text messages.  Happened in a split second -- she fired me.  Then, later on the owner told me not to go back.  So, I suggest if you want to be in a place that isn't judge and jury all rolled up into one --- keep looking.  I think it's important to have a sense of humor and at the very least offer your client some 'air time' to explain without being so defensive.  It was shocking.  I apologized profusely and never received an acknowledgment on any level.

what a BEAUTIFUL salon!!! It is very clean, trendy, and eco-friendly! All of the girls were helpful and kind, and Amy did a phenomenal job on my hair! Very reasonably priced for the results and relaxation that you'll get! Would recommend to anyone that has hair in need of a little love!

Needed to find a salon, coming in from out of town without any of my styling tools and into a bitter cold environment my skin and hair are not used to! Got a referral from a good friend to come here. Salon Gratto is a  Very nice salon. Everyone was very friendly.  Very quaint and homey atmosphere. The best part was having Ashley who made me feel like a million bucks by the time I left! They sell a line called Deveness, which looked nice and Ashley said it was great.

Not happy with my stylist.  She gave me the cut I wanted but cut my hair way too short.  I can't pull my hair back like I normally do and the cost was twice as much as I usually pay...$50 for just a cut!  Also had a set appointment but stylist was 30 minutes late to start.  When styling, so much product was used that it looked like my hair was oily and I had to go to work this way.  Straightening my hair actually left it curly and frizzy on the ends.

Sandy and Bri are absolutely amazing! I recently moved away from KC and am so sad because I loved my relaxing time at Salon Gratto.

I was a client of Sandy's for a few years and she microbladed my eyebrows, threaded my eyebrows and tinted my eyebrows. She is my eyebrow queen! I had very light blonde eyebrows that I was always penciling in.

Bri took over my eyelashes and made sure that I was ready for any event. Whether that was eyelash lifts, tints or extensions, she was the one who made sure I was ready!
