Salon Evangelene in Medina, OH

I love Salon Evangelene! I had never been there until recently. Went for color and hilites. I needed a bit of a change from the overall blonde hilites I have had forever. The styist, April, was extremely helpful with suggestions on adding lowlites. I loved my hair when it was done! She added some of my natural color back in so I didn't look so blonde. She also recommended some great products for my curly hair. I am using these products regularly now and I love the way my hair looks (no more frizz but lots of curl). The salon itself has a really relaxing atmosphere . Way different from other salons I have been to. I felt pampered while I was there which is a good feeling in today's busy world. They have a new customer for sure!

Visited this salon for the first time today, and I couldn't ask for a better experience. They blew me away with their hospitality and customer service. I visited after seeing their high reviews on yelp, and they lived up to all expectations. Jen cut and colored my hair, and I would highly recommend her. She took the time to ask me detailed questions about what I wanted and really made me feel confident about my choice. Other salons I have visited in the past rush the color consultation of the appointment, and often I would feel apprehensive or disappointed about the end result. This was definitely not the case with Jen. I was also very impressed with Joelle who did my pedicure. She took her time and was meticulous and careful. I can truly say it was the best pedicure I've ever had! I cannot say enough good things about this salon, and I will definitely be back!

I was anxious to find a new salon as I was "breaking up" with one nearby. Finding just the right person to cut my very short hair was stressful! I am very pleased to report that that I have found a new beauty oasis. The staff put me at ease, my appointment was on time and Amanda, who I had never met before, was personable, professional and quite the artist. I cannot wait to try the other services that are offered here! I am in love with my hair again!!!

New to area, Was referred by front desk to Susan. She did a tremendous job, she was attentive and fast. She asked questions and gave insight/opinions on what she thought that could be helpful for me in styling and cutting. Very professional. Will be a repeat client for as long as I am in the area.

I chose Salon Evangelene because I have friends who go there. When I arrived I was impressed by the hairstyles of every stylist and the receptionists. Yes, I felt I was in the right place. I brought a photo of myself so the stylist could see what I wanted her to do. I stressed I did not want the back to be any shorter than the photo. I reminded her of that when she was cutting. By the time she was finished to my horror, the back was "gone." It wasn't even a half inch long. Why she didn't stick to the style in my photo of my very own hair, I'll never know. She was almost half the price of the other stylists so I decided to take a chance on her--big mistake. Now I have to go through the holidays looking like a boy.
