Alex has been doing my hair for 15+ years now - I don't know what I am going to do when he retires! Color is always amazing and I wouldn't let anyone else bring scissors near me.
The reviews here are quite outdated and certainly don't reflect the quality of the service today. I physically went into the salon a month prior to my appointment to book a root touch-up, highlights, and cut. Alex scheduled my appointment which I confirmed. However when I arrived and did the initial consultation with my stylist despite the fact that we discussed root color and specifically what she would recommend for my hair, I only received highlights. No root color. When I questioned this I was told that I was only booked for highlights. Not correct. Now I am left with having to wait to get my roots done (essentially the rest of my service). Additionally, the person shampooing hair is terrible. I got water down my back, in my ear, and all over my face. Perhaps it was her first day? Also no apology from Alex who incorrectly booked my appointment. Quite expensive for incomplete service and will absolutely be going elsewhere to have my service completed.
I've been looking for a stylist and admired the haircut of a friend's. She highly recommended Alex Chahine and now I understand why. My hair cut and color turned out so well. I've received many compliments. I'll plan on going back and would recommend Alex and the salon to others.
