Shala is the best in the world! We just moved back to Southern California and being able to book an appointment with her is just delightful. I have very fine hair and she knows how to cut it so that it has shine, movement and integrates with my personality. Big fan here.

It's shocking to see these bad yelp reviews. Shala is a veteran in the hair biz in Malibu and has many dedicated and loyal clients. One of these reviews gave her a one only to say this location is closed, in which it's not! It's off Kanan and PCH now. It's a cozy, adorable location now in a business center on the main road. If you want a pro to cut and color your hair, come here... she's even done local celebrities for years. She knows her stuff.

I made an appointment to get my hair done with a lady over the phone. I was very excited. The day came and my dog got very sick that morning so while I was at the vet I called to let them know I wouldn't be able to make it and asked to reschedule. I was told by the same lady that I could not reschedule because I messed up her whole schedule and day and because of me she was losing out on money! I was appalled that a business owner would turn away a client that has already had a terrible day cleaning up her sick dogs throw up! Thank you for making me feel terrible in a situation I had no control over. I'm taking my business to an establishment that is more professional and NICE to their customers!

I have been going to Shala for years and when I move away from Malibu, or try someone else on vacation, I have to go back to her to fix my color. I like a golden color, not ashy or too brassy. Since I am a naturally dark brunette, the color can go south if not done correctly. Shala has it DOWN!! She always goes above and beyond what I expect and pay for. Amazing service, always with a smile!!
