I've been visiting Salon Art for my hair cuts for over a decade. Salon Art always provides great service at an affordable price. Well maintained, clean and friendly staff. Great selection of hair products to purchase as well. Highly recommend!

If you need your hair done, go to Salon Art!!! Great stylists and customer service! Every stylist in there is excellent. Also, their nail technician is friendly and awesome!! I can't wait to come back for another appointment.

If, like me, and you are tired of going from salon to salon to have a bad hair cut fixed - you should make an appointment with William at Salon Art. For the very first time in years I love my hair! I sat in his chair and humbly told him that I love having short hair, but can't seem to find anyone to cut it right. He just smiled and said let me see what we're going to do then. He looked at my eyes and skin tone, asked me a couple of questions then ran his fingers through my hair and said OK, I know what we're going to do. I somehow knew I trusted him, and he left to mix up my color concoction in his bowl. Soon after, I looked in the mirror and knew I loved it, even though it was still wet! The color lite up my face, and I immediately saw I had cheekbones again! I wanted to tell him to just throw some jell in there and I'd happily be on my way... but I wanted to stay to see his end result...and I'm so glad I did. He took his time and trained me about how my hair grows and how to dry it properly, then recommended the products that would help me style it to it's best advantage. He whipped up this "cocktail" as he called it, which was two different products that you rub together. After he applied this to my hair, I was amazed because I now had at least 4 times the volume my hair has ever had! With a few shaping tugs on my new look, he handed me the mirror, and I felt like giving him a big hug...like making plans to get dressed up...like just going out somewhere to be seen, and I haven't felt that way in a long time! I have never felt the need to write an endorsement for anything before, but I would tell anyone who will listen how valuable this man's talents are. He has trained with the best of the best, and it is SO evident that he loves what he does. I am now aware that there is really is a difference between those who are trained to cut hair, and those who train to be artists with hair!!! Do yourself a favor, and see what he will do for you. You won't be disappointed I promise. I've gotten compliments from people who never complimented me before, about anything! Thank you William...You've made me have confidence again! Donna

William is one of those rare stylists that you find like a diamond in a haystack. From the 80's when I spent $250 on my hair in NYC (I know!!) to salon's like the famed Beverly Hill's Jose Eber, and San Fran's Gina Khan, I've gotten almost 3 decades of amazing haircuts. Excellent haircuts are like great shoes--they look, and feel heavenly, and still look great much later. So, passing through Maryland's Eastern Shore left me with a quandary: drive to NY or DC, or try a local stylist? After being talked into a "friend's" local stylist, I was horrified at the results. I looked like the "Little Dutch Boy." Then I made my way to William, whom had been referred to me when I admired a stranger's cut. He is as talented a stylist as any that I've seen. Graciously, he fixed my hair, giving me a beautiful cut that has grown in the way I expect it to. Cutting to suit my face, and my desires, I left his chair feeling, and looking, absolutely beautiful. He also made sure that I knew how to style it in a variety of styles, from hot-curlers, to blown-dry, to air-dry. If you are ready for a change of pace, get yourself to this amazing man. For $60, your hair will reflect the image that you long for, every time you look in the mirror. From now on, I may just drive from NY to see him--he's that good!
