Salon 52 in Newburgh, NY

I came in about 2-3 days ago feeling spontaneous and all at the same time nervous, considering she'd be the first one to touch my hair since I moved here from San Diego, CA. The first thing I noticed was the big, warm welcoming smile from Tina. She made me feel comfortable right away. When I first came in, I initially wanted to cut just my bangs. I decided I wanted to just go for it and asked if I can get a totally different hair style and showed her a picture of what I'd like (I too hate when things get moved around without warning, I realized it as soon as I asked.) Tina was so kind and made sure she didn't have an upcoming client and regardless, she agreed. She took one look at my reference photo and did her magic. I get compliments left to right because of my hair. Thank you! I will be coming back!

I love salon 52 and all the workers there. Just went to get a trim and color. And it turned out better than I could've ever imagined!

So I've been going to Tina the owner of Salon 52 for nearly 30 years. I have a tight schedule so I decided to color my hair different right around New Years, right out of a box. To make a long story short 3 boxes of hair dye later I was like Ronald McDonald not the picture on the box lolol...I quickly 911 Tina, she immediately took me after hours and promised to work on me until I was happy.Three hours later and lots of magic from Tina I left so happy.It's exactly what I wanted.I highly recommend her salon. She is so passionate about hair and she had such empathy when it came to my" orange" hair.Thank you Tina, I feel blessed to have your expertise to clean up my mess.

Funny no reviews until mine and then 20 all within a couple days, a coincidence? As having been a business owner myself, the owner did not handle this professionally. The manager totally messed my hair up, she was a kid with no experience and i dont blame her. She needs to be trained by a professional. My hair was black and 5 inches shorter, with a really bad cut. I did call back because i thought the owner should do something. After seeing how upset i was leaving that day you would think the owner would have said or done something? The vitamins i used on my hair did nothing but lighten the color they used. So the owner offers highlights, which i was skeptical of because of damage. She assured me that the products were gentle. So she does highlights and they do damage my hair and they were yellow and right down to the roots. I guess i should have been grateful she took so much time to please a customer. Great customer service. As for the bad review i supposedly wrote 3 weeks previous for another salon, i hadn't been to another salon for 2 months, so it was either someone else or another coincidence. Luckily i have found a true professional that has fixed the mess from salon 52.
