Worst haircut and color I've ever received. This stylist completely overcharged me and I can't even go out in public with my hair looking this way. I'm not opposed to paying a lot for good service but to charge such an exorbitant amount and have your hair be damaged and falling out!?!?! I have important meetings this week and I'm mortified that this was done to me. Whatever you do don't go to Laura Wilkinson. You will regret it. Don't say I didn't warn you.
Great cut and color with little to no fuss, experienced staff. Nice feel to this place, staff are mostly friendly and very down to earth, (in Summit!) Cash or check only so now you know...
The BEST !! I have been going to Salon 44 for over 10 years ( to the incredible Jackie) and its long overdue that I write this review. Tony and his staff are great , they are incredibly professional and friendly as well. Its like walking into "Cheers" but instead of beer and peanuts you get a haircut and a wash !
I find the review below by Yajaida very surprising. Tony has been cutting and coloring my hair for 30 years or so. He is an absolute magician with curly hair and his entire staff has always been extremely professional, pleasant and welcoming.
I moved to Summit NJ 27 years ago, the year Tony opened Salon 44, and he's been cutting my hair all these years, short and longer styles. He runs a professional hair salon and everyone at Salon 44 is friendly and good at what they do. He's a brilliant colorist and I love the way he highlights my hair. My ex husband still goes to him and my grown sons went to him for many years until they moved away. Salon 44 is the best in every way!
