I have been getting services from Ms. Sahan for years. She is definitely one of the best lash and brow technicians in the Chicago area

If you are looking to receive services at a professionally run place of business do not seek out an appointment here for hair braiding services. Sahan booked an appointment for 9:30am with my son this morning and when my son arrived at the shop she was no where to be found. He attempted to call her phone and she did not answer so he called me to see if I had another number for Sahan. I did not as she told me when I called the previous week the number listed on the web is her direct cell number. So I tried to call and text her several times and received no answer. My son waited a half hour and she failed to show up for the appointment she made earlier this week. The only reason we sought out services by Sahan was because she was referred to us by another salon in the same building. But based on reviews on Yelp that complained about Sahan's untimeliness, lack of professionalism, and shady pricing practices I should have known not to have my son seek out services from her salon. Things happen in life and I understand that premise. But at the very least she could have answered the phone or sent a text saying she could not make the appointment and apologize. Time is money and customers have jobs and other obligations which is why they make appointments. We always complain about how other races mistreat us but it never ceases to amaze me how we treat each other. Common courtesy and respect go a long way. The unfortunate thing is others will still go to her even though she lacks professionalism and because of that she will likely not change her practices. I however, realize that I can choose where I want to spend my money and I've taught my son the same lesson. So we're happy to spend our money somewhere else where appointments are actually honored and common courtesy and respect are a way of life. If nothing else I hope this review prevents someone else from going through the same headache.

Let's address customer service: Does not acknowledge her tardiness. Wavering prices for service. Irritable attitude! The location is convenient. Keep the rest. I can find a more professional proprietor elseware.

I am done with Sahan. I show up @ 6pm, her hours are listed that she is open till 6:30. I am ringing the bell until about 6:25, no anwser. Another lady comes in to go to the hair shop that is ran by her sister, and inquired as to why no oneis anwsering the bell. Her sister informs us that she has left. I travel from the northside of Chicago to get my ebrows done by her, never again. She won't take appointments either, always tells you to just come in. I am truly disappointed by her lack of professionalism.
