Rogers Academy of Beauty in Prescott, AZ

First time here for any service. I went in for a gel manicure. The lady took my hands and was going to start painting my fingernails without doing the manicure. I questioned this and asked her to do the manicure. She was very nice but didn't do a good job on the manicure. My cuticles are jagged and rough looking. The gel part was ok but I made a comment that she didn't keep my hands under the lighting long enough. Within 24 hours, the entire product came off 1 fingernail and was chipping on another fingernail. I went back in within 2 days of my appt for them to fix it. Originally, went in on Thursday. Went back in Saturday for correction. Now, on Monday, the entire product came off another nail. I somewhat glued it back down with nail hardener. As I'm typing this review, I have a 4th finger that now has the entire product off. I've had the entire product now come off of 4 nails and it's only been 5 days. My cuticles look horrible. I'm not going in again for repair. It was a botched gel manicure from beginning to end. I'll have to go somewhere and have to pay for them to take it off and pay for a good gel manicure. Just go into a professional salon. This is costing me more than doing that to start with.

I went in on a Saturday, first in line at the door. I was a little nervous, I had 4 inches of grey roots. They covered the roots with just the right color and added hi lites. I Love the color and the style. I was kicking my self, why haven't I been here before? Great staff and teachers, professional and polite. my friend said I look 10 years younger, Thank you Rogers.

The instructor was very rude. I brought my littles to my appointment and the instructor had to berate me that "kids aren't allowed here!". Well how was I to know? Not a single person said anything before that. Not the lady on the phone booking my appointment, not the receptionists when I walked in, not my stylist, not every single student walking past gawking at how cute they are. She was the only one and had to be so awful and embarrassing about it. Besides her, the stylist was friendly and did a decent job. Just prepare for 2.5+ hours for just a haircut. I also wouldn't recommend going for anything more than a simple cut, there was no supervision or instructor assistance.

Friendly, professional and a great, affordable haircut. Lexie listened to exactly what I wanted and really did a nice job.
