I recently had my hair cut/colored by Diane at Robert Anthony's Salon. It was a great experience. Coming from NYC, it's been hard to find a salon in Newtown that I trust and now I can say I trust someone! Diane understood EXACTLY the color and the cut that I wanted. It looks gorgeous and I felt like my old self leaving the salon. I highly recommend Diane and it's taken me over 10 months to go because I didn't think I could trust anyone other than my hair stylist in NYC! I will definitely be going back to her again. I am new to the area and after trying other salons, I finally found Jessica. She was very welcoming and listened to me. She did an amazing job on the color and cut and I actually felt pretty when I left. Everyone in there was friendly and nice and I will be back. OK, this is a wonderful place! Welcoming, friendly, and I got the haircut I WANTED!!! Diane LISTENED and then worked her magic! It was a GREAT, relaxing, fun experience--and I LOVE my new haircut!
I went to this salon faithfully for a number of years and decided to go elsewhere because my stylist was tip obsessed. Etiquette dictates that a salon owner doesn't accept tips, yet this owner did. My stylist would complain about client tips after they left the salon-unprofessional! This stylist did not like the tip I left after my last cut. That was it for me.
