RO16 Salon and Spa in Portland, OR

Made an appointment with Angeline Jones for my 15 year old today (10/31) at 12:45, and even received a confirmation email earlier this week in which I confirmed the appointment. We arrived a few minutes early and saw 2 women chatting inside (both sitting) and tried opening the locked door. We then stood outside waiting while they continued to talk and Angeline finally came to let us in. I greeted her warmly and introduced her to my daughter stating our appointment time as she looked us up and down and coldly she was finishing up and she'd be with us when she was done. She then went back to her "client" and in slow motion washed her hair and gave her a blow dry as they talked about men issues. 45 min after our original appointment time she still wasn't finished and not once came over to apologize or give us an idea of a new start time. She actually didn't even look our direction. We finally decided to get up and leave since it felt obvious she no longer wanted us around. As we left she still didn't even acknowledge us or apologize, and as we drove by to leave I saw her and her "client" back to both sitting and chit chatting. It's now been hours and no call or email apologizing or offering to reschedule. I am so beyond disappointed in how unprofessional this woman and salon are and RO16 should be ashamed for letting such an inconsiderate stylist use their salon. I will be making sure everyone I know is aware of this experience. To treat a kid like this is unforgivable. Do NOT give this salon your business.

I've been looking for someone to cut my hair and attempted to schedule two appointments here online. I first called and no one answered but their answering machine says "for faster service check out our website". I did and attempted to schedule my first appointment except it wasn't scheduled it was "requested", checked several times it was never "accepted" so I cancelled and tried with another stylist for a sooner date. Same thing. No response to my online appointment. I called and left a message to please call me or respond so I could plan ahead if the appointment would be accepted. Still no response. No call back. I don't even have to go here to know how bad the salon is based on their horrible customer service. Just cancelled my second requested appointment. You'd think in these times people would do everything they can to get business in the door, guess they're thriving if they can blow off potential customers! :)

I've had Kaileigh and Melanie cut/trim my hair here and they are both great! Very friendly stylists and did exactly what I asked for.

Poor staff services. I'm quitting after my second stylist. I needed a second because the first wasn't capable of communicating whatsoever.  The second was better, but the salon itself is a total failure. Not worth the prices, or products. Find Kevin Murphy elsewhere. No place has ever been less capable of doing hair and caring for its clientele.

I came to this Salon to buy hair products as they are a recognized Kevin Murphy Salon reseller.  I arrived at 5:37pm (as I type this) and the doors were locked with a stylist and customer inside.
The stylist said they were closed but they are advertised as being open until 7:00pm.  Such a bummer.  I would advise to change your business hours so people don't drive all the way here when you aren't really open for business as advertised.
