I don't know what to say I thought I really liked this place because they gave me a nice haircut at a decent price but then when I went back in to get the same haircut it cost twice as much. I wanted a trim with some Style and I guess they thought that was worth $30 when I was only expecting to pay 15. I tried to keep my mind open about it but then I got a really upsetting message from a friend telling me their experience the other day.
From what she told me she would call frequently and leave a voicemail asking to get a haircut just a trim and they would not get back to her nor answer the phone and it took about 2 weeks to finally get a person on the phone. I had a similar experience trying to get a hold of someone I just thought it meant that they were really busy and popular which means they are really good at their job I guess... But then she told me the day of the haircut they canceled saying that the time of the appointment suddenly didn't work for them.
Exact message: I hate to bother you but your haircut appointment time won't actually work and I'm needing to change that.

They never did call back to reschedule. So she had to start the process all over again trying to get someone on the phone to no luck. So she messaged the person at the number they contacted her at and said:
I keep calling trying to set another appointment but no one ever answer the phone or calls me back? You guys should to invest in a desk person to answer phones.

The secretary idea was mine and I'm shocked she acted so negatively about it. the response she got was very unsettling and made me want to take my business elsewhere. Here is the response:

I'm sorry you feel that, however my business is just fine as is and if you would like to make an appointment and can't reach us that's why we have online booking.

Appointments with Cassie won't be available until May as she had her baby early 2 weeks ago & is on Maternity leave.
Not that I owe you any explanation, but given the way you just approached me & since you seem to find the need to tell me how to invest in my business I'll just have you know that I actually am sorry you haven't been called back at the moment I'm unaware that you ever called/left a message. I don't work on Wednesday's so if you called yesterday that's why no answer or call back. If you called before that, I was probably busy with color clients  (I don't stop to get the phone during color appointments) as I'm doing my best to get everyone in but the next available appointment for anyone is in 4-5 weeks. You obviously still have my cellphone number and can clearly reach me, as I reached out to you when I needed to do so. If you couldn't reach me at the salon then a text would have been another option before now, but instead of using all the given resources you decided that being rude to
me at 5:00 in the morning was the best option.
Have a great day & keep in mind that everyone has something going on and being rude right out the grate isn't usually the best option especially if you expect them to be nice back to you or help you. I have the right to refuse service to anyone, so unless you can find a better approach you will be asked to find a different salon. Again, have a great day.

I really didn't think what she said was rude at all even though her timing could have been better but she does work nights which makes it even harder for her to schedule an appointment at a decent time. But she also doesn't have internet access and so scheduling an appointment online wouldn't work and I actually found it to be quite complicated myself.
I know she is pretty upset and doesn't want to go there ever again but I'm torn wondering if I should continue going there for my business I mean they gave a good haircut but it seems really hard just to get an appointment and then the people there apparently aren't that nice.
