Rapunzel Salon & Spa in Boise, ID

I love Cecelia! She's cut my hair three times now and always does a great job. My hair is pretty short so precision is important because it would be very obvious if I had a bad cut. The salon is in a cool old house that has been renovated and used as various businesses over the years. Their sign out by the road is WAY too old and worn out so I thought the inside must be a dump for years before I finally made an appointment on a whim. It turns out the inside is super cute but you wouldn't know that based on the sign. Ignore the sign and make an appointment with Cecelia!

I adjust my travel plans just so I can be sure to see Brittany for eyelash extensions whenever I am in Boise. She is the best I've had, no matter where I travel. The lashes last, look so much more full than other places I've been and she's very nice. Her chair is one of the most relaxing places on earth. IF ONLY I had a Brittany every place I go!

If I could give them negative stars I would. I went in to get lash extensions done and the older woman who owns the salon was kind and welcoming. As she started on my lashes, everything was fine. It wasn't until she was half way through my lashes I found out she had just recently got her license and that she learned how to do it through a friend. That's fine if you learn how to properly attach lashes. Apparently she didn't. Not only were my eyes glued closed when she was done, but her way of rectifying that was to put a finger on my top and bottom lid and jerk open my eye... Which you can imagine hurt like hell and damaged my lashes. I found another place (better place) for my next fill and found out how much damage was truly done. My lashes are now thin and fragile. It has been over a year and I am still trying to get my lashes back to what they were originally. If you care for the health of your lashes at all, DO NOT go to Rapunzel salon.

Went here last week to Laura  to get a haircut from that was long overdue! I have medium thick hair and it was down to my butt! I showed the lady exactly what I wanted with many different pictures and she understood and said no problem but when I left there it was NOTHING like what I wanted...

I asked for a long layered cut and I didn't mind how much she cut off as long as it wasn't too short and looked like the pictures I showed her.. I ended up with a choppy looking cut and 8 inches off.. I'm very disappointed, I had very high expectations for this place.. I'm not picky about my hair but this pissed me off! I don't mind paying $50 for a haircut as long as it's GOOD!!!

So the next day I put my hair in a ponytail and there was a huge chunk that was longer than the rest of my hair so I had to get scissors and cut myself to make it even.. Probably would have been better off going to great clips, which is what I definitely didn't want to do.. Just sad.
