For a long time I never went to any fancy Hair Salons because i figured it was more expensive for no reason. Well 3 years ago I decided i wanted to switch up my hair after countless of bad haircuts and terrible service at supercuts and Jenny has made me see the truth about hair salons. I won't go to anyone else now and i'm about to go to college in Kansas City. I plan on coming back down to NWA just so Jenny can cut my hair. Her prices are a little expensive but it's absolutely worth the money every single time. Her prices 100% reflect how absolutely talents and amazing she is. Everyone I've talked to there has always been extremely welcoming and so kind.
I have never left a bad review in my life, but I feel obligated to share. I was so excited to spend the day pampering myself, but... I brought pictures to show the hair color and cut that I wanted and what I got didn't match any of my requests. I wanted streaks of color but got an all-over highlight - going from the dark hair I love to a lighter tone that I didn't want. The shape was supposed to be longer in the front, but it was an even cut. It was supposed to be layered in the back - and even after I asked her to cut again to give me more shape (so it would be longer in the front) and to add more layers, I still didn't get either. From her reaction, I could tell she knew she made a mistake, but she tried to hide it by acting like she still had more she was going to do - although she had finished and given me the mirror. Knowing I was disappointed, she curled it before I left and I thought it looked cute, but when I got home - I hated it. I paid too much to be this disappointed. On top of that my esthetician called in sick so I didn't get my facial or brow wax. So much for a day of pampering :( I went to another salon and made an appointment to try to fix it, so I'll end up paying even more. I tried to give the stylist an opportunity to fix it before leaving this review, but again, she didn't seem to know how. She is a sweet girl and I don't want to name her publically, but she's been there at least 6 months because she did my trim a while back.
I'm new to town- just moved from SF. I booked this gem of a place and got assigned to Sarah A. She's only 1.5 years in- best cut and color I've had in 10 years. On top of that she's cool- thank you! Do not hesitate to book her today!
The salon is beautiful and my stylist was very sweet. I got a cut and gloss, she took extra care to make sure we were on the same page for what I was looking for. Highly recommend!
