Scheduled an appointment with Ashley. I came in with shoulder-length hair and told her I wanted to keep as much length as possible before she cut 6 INCHES off the crown. My hair is now two completely different lengths and the layers are short and choppy. The stylist rushed through the process and didn't explain what she was going to do beforehand--if she had, I would've said no. Just got home and had to trim an inch off the front because it was uneven. I will not be returning.

the front desk dude rushed me in because there would be a rush. um got there, and it was nearly empty. after haircut, my back was wet? unprofessional and needlessly pushy.

I've been here 2-3 times and have had a good experience each time. I wanted a last minute hair cut and was able to get in that same day (a Saturday, so quite good!). wash, cut and dry we're about $45 which felt reasonable. I am happy with length and shaping and will be back again

Actually the worst (men's) haircut I have ever received to date, and I've received some bad haircuts in Oakland. Stylist took 7 minutes to do the entire cut and didn't ask if I wanted her to touch anything up. She didn't taper the sides, which is what I asked, cut the top way too short, and butchered my part. She left hair that was too long below the part and also chopped hair short above the part. Not sure if she was just a bad stylist or didn't care about the quality of haircut she was giving, but I guess that's the same thing. I won't be coming back.

i came in just wanting to get around an inch and a half trimmed of my hair (mostly the ends since they were pretty dead) but then ended up getting around 3 inches cut off without any warning. The stylist (lindsay i think) said she'd only cut a little off. she started cutting my hair dry and then washed it and just kept on cutting. i wasn't able to see how much she was cutting after she had washed it and she said she was going to cut less before starting, but after she was done my hair was so much shorter than i wanted and i completely hated it. i'm not one to cause a scene, especially when there's no point (in this case there was no point since the hair had already been cut), so i just said thank you and left. i had to stop myself from crying and walk out with a smile even though i absolutely hated the haircut. i have naturally curly hair, so when i get it cut i know that it'll be even shorter when it's curly. i told her this before she started in order to stress how important it was to me to not have it too short (since i know it'd get even shorter when i wear it natural). i even showed her a picture to demonstrate how short it gets. i wasn't able to see how much she was cutting in the back, so when she moved all my hair to the front after she was done cutting, i was shocked. i've never had my hair cut this short and have never wanted to because i straighten it somewhat frequently so it doesn't grow as fast. i was completely devastated leaving the salon, but again i refrained from causing a scene. i still am very upset about the haircut and hate looking at myself now because of it. i just wish she had cut only an inch and a half off like i had asked her to but she cut off so much more and now it's way too short. i won't ever be returning to puccinis because of this. i really wanted to like this place as one of my friend's went here and told me to go, but i can't say i was satisfied at all with the haircut. i wish i had never gone and just trimmed my hair myself. atleast now i know. this is my first time ever writing a review for anywhere because i'm not one to complain online, but i've also never been this unhappy with a service in my entire life so i feel as though i need to write one.
