Posh Salon in Lexington, KY

Horrible experience with booking and front staff- the front staff really needs training!! There's too many salons in Lexington to be a patron at this poorly managed establishment!!

I went in to get a toner and asked the stylist to JUST dry my hair so that I don't go out of the salon with dripping wet hair in 30 degree weather. I get to the front desk and I am charged an extra $26 for the drying that I was not told about upfront. When I asked about it, the front desk girl said its a " blow dry style". What style??? I could have done it at home and put a blow dryer to my hair for free. I asked to get it dried to not walk out with wet hair when its freezing outside. I don't like being ambushed at the front desk to pay for a "service" that I was not told about. If I was told about it upfront, I could have then decided if I wanted my hair dried. But I was not given that option. I have been at Posh since 2019 at Richmond Rd location and always had a great experience but unfortunately, I won't be returning. The stylist did a great job on the toner. But for me, its a matter of principle to not ambush clients to pay for something that is considered a "service" without consulting them first to decide for themselves if they would like to pay for it or not.

Horrible overpriced. Gave chunky highlights. Stylist was 1hour late. Had to leave with soaking wet hair. Absolutely disgusting. The prices on the website lie. They lie when they respond on google to cover for themselves. When I called and talked to a manager she didn't seem apologetic at all. Basically acted like she gets this a lot(NOT A GOID SIGN) and "tried to come to a compromise/conclusion". I am irate. NEVER GO HERE. There is a 50/50 chance that u will not get what u ask for and will walk out with worse hair than u walk in with. And this is for a simple set of highlights. They are an absolutely disgusting and overpriced business for hair results that a child could do. How dare they run a business as "professionally trained stylists" and mess up a basic set of highlights. I could show my brother a 15 minute YouTube video on how to do highlights and he would have done a better job than these people. And i wouldn't have to have my time wasted for 1 hour while the stylists wastes my time and takes pics and goes slow with the previous client. There r several reviews of them wasting peoples time and horrible highlights. I mean how do u mess up highlights. NEVER GO HERE!!!!

I've never written any bad reviews for a business ever. But I will post my experience on all platforms and to the BBB. How dare they try and run a business this way
