Posh Polish Nail Salon in Westfield, IN

What a great nail salon! From easy scheduling to the great service, I'll definitely be returning. The salon is very clean and has a modern vibe. My services were done be Una and she did a phenomenal job!

Normally I am happy with my nails at posh polis but I haven't been lately. The last two times I've gotten gel, it has chipped/peeled within a day. Also, I went the other day and the woman who did my nails was very harsh. She even cut me and glued the skin together with the nail glue to keep it from bleeding.

The first time I went to this salon a few weeks ago, I had an amazing pedicure and gel manicure. I don't remember the ladies name, but she was friendly and did a fantastic job on my nails. My gel manicure did not peel at all in 3 weeks. Other than my nails growing out, the polish was still in perfect condition.

I decided to go back because I had such an amazing experience the first time. Unfortunately I did not have the same experience again. Acetone was put on my nails to remove the previous gel, but it was left on for an hour while I got my pedicure. The lady who did my pedicure did a great job, no complaints.

Then I was shifted back to the manicure station and I assumed my gel manicure was going to be done by the same lady who did my pedicure, but it wasn't. They have one man who works there (or at least he was the only man working that day), and he sat down to do my manicure. He didn't have any of his own tools, and I should have known right then he didn't know what he was doing. I asked him to file my nails a certain shape, and it took him 3 attempts to get close to the shape, but I stopped correcting him by that time because he was filing so badly that was skin was becoming raw. I should have stopped and requested someone else, but I have social anxiety, don't like confrontation, and am a people pleasure. By the time he finished filing all my nails (I had been growing my nails out for 2 months to get them a certain shape), they were different lengths, the edges were uneven and I had cuts from the rough filing on 3 of my fingers. He was so slow with the polish application, the application was so uneven and inconsistent in opaqueness. I was so annoyed with myself for not speaking up. I just paid and left. Over the next 4 days, every single one of my nails has broken! Not just broken, but broken so far down the nail bed, that it is painful. The way he filed my nails was so rough and irregular, he weakened them severely. My nails have never broken after a gel manicure until it's almost time to get it redone. This was within 4 days of getting it done!

Will I go back? I haven't decided yet, but if I do, I definitely will not get my nails done by him again.

I was out of town and came in for a family party. The salon is beautiful. I was very disappointed with the service and the tech. She was rough and put another client dirty tools by me. She seemed very busy socializing with another tech besides what she was doing. That was disrespectful. The polish was bubbled in several areas and uneven, more than than... The tech was SHEELY.

They do an excellent job with my nails from designs to shaping to matte finish. Highly recommend
