Platinum Salon in Oceanside, NY

I'm more than happy to say how satisfied I feel to find this place. Very nice people. Very friendly yet very professional! They help me to fix my color (I tried to do at home lol), and I came also for an amazing hair cut I haven't had quite a long time! Whole salon feels very comfortable with the first step you walk in. Highly recommend to visit this place. They do wash blow and dry your hair and style for very good price. Thanks, to everyone for their professionalism and welcoming place. Will be back soon;)

I was able to get an appt same day. I wanted to add tinsel into my hair. It was $15 for the amount I added. I believe they put in six throughout my hair. I had curly hair so I do not wash daily. I washed my hair Monday and I had them put in on Saturday. Upset that four of them already came out. They were barely on any strands of hair. I understand they shouldn't last forever but I would have liked them to last longer than one washing. Was happy with the service and ease of appt but unhappy that these didn't last long at all.

So happy I found this place! I have gone for a haircut and color with Lorraine (multiple times) and have constantly received compliments on my hair. I was impressed with the cut and color but also with her taking the time to listen, answer my questions and offer suggestions. I can tell she cares about how her clients feel. Lorraine has a calm way about her. I never felt rushed or pushed to buy a product. The salon is calming and bright. The rest of the staff are friendly and welcoming too! Highly recommend!!

I am so happy with Platinum Salon. I have been going here ever since I found it a year ago! I won't go anywhere else! All of the stylists and colorists are artists. I trust Lorraine with my hair. When she cuts my hair it always looks fresh and she listens to what I want. Honesty she styles my hair so well I wish she could blow out my hair weekly. Maggie did my highlights and she has amazing vision for how the final color will look. My highlights came out great, multitonal and glossy. Perfect job everytime. I also bring my daughter here and she was so happy with her haircut. She is looking so pretty to start the new school year! I highly recommend trying Platinum Salon, you won't be disappointed.

Great colorists. Was a customer for many years and was never disappointed. Unfortunately, the prices have gone up way too high, and I've found a new place that does just as good a job for $60 for single process (what Platimum used to charge.)
