NYC Panache Salon in Oceanside, NY

I visited Panache Salon in Oceanside for the first time towards the end of 2020, I fell in love with the service and my stylist Jess and I continued to get my hair done with her until April 23,2021. You will notice that my review is being written over a year after my service but that is due to the fact that I am still in shock with how awful my hair was left. I came in that day looking to get just my roots touched up and a shadow roof just in time for my birthday. In return I received a burnt scalp/forehead and an insane amount of breakage. I am a girl who honestly has a hard time speaking up for herself especially when it comes to situations such as these when you are left speechless. When I told Jess about the burns she left, all she told me was that she thought they were birthmarks. I was offered no partial refund or even a product to help my hairs damaged state. To this day I am left with scars on my forehead from the insane amount of bleach that was put on my head. My hair is still uneven in the back from all my shortage. I truly wished I was just refused service if I was gonna be left with results that I continue to suffer with. I truly wish my time with Panache Salon wasn't cut so short and I hate that I have to write a review like this

I've been getting my haircuts at another salon in Queens for a over decade but decided that I needed a salon closer to where I live. Thankfully, I came across NYC Panache and made an appointment for a haircut with Jessica. I'm completely in love with my haircut!Initially, I had wanted to chop my long hair off into a LOB but luckily she talked me out of it and opted for my go-to style of layers with curtain bangs. When I looked into the mirror, my jaw dropped as she did an incredible job with my haircut. I am so happy I found this salon for all my hair needs! Don't wait make your hair appointments ASAP!

I had a great experience here. Jessica cut and highlighted my hair exactly the way I wanted it. I showed her some photos and she really looked at them and listened to what I was asking for. She is also very sweet and made me feel right at home. I will definitely be back !

This salon is a must try! Bought a groupon and had a top-notch Balayage done by Jessica. It came out fantastic -- she really listened to what I wanted, and got a good feel for what I like. I couldn't be happier with my hair, it came out amazing. The salon is family run, clean, and they really give a warm, friendly feel to your visit. Highly recommended!

I didn't see Marina (the owner) personally at this location. I saw one of her employees. I left with unpleasant results, and sent an email request directly through the website. Marina immediately responded to my email to send photos. I want to say that it means a lot that an owner would respond to fix it themselves at no additional cost to the client. If you ever have an issue with color here, I think contacting the owner with photos etc would help. However, I went to another salon to fix my hair due to timing and location.
