Yesterday was my 3rd cut and Style at Pietro's Salon. As always, owner Tina was taking all steps to ensure safety: temps on entry, no waiting in salon, sanitizing stations before and after each client and hand sanitizing. Stylists and clients masked entire time in salon. Oh-AND-a great cut and style. You can feel safe and comfortable getting wonderful service at Pietro's Salon in Creekside shops across from KFC in State College.
A hair salon for people 50 or over. My mom got her hair done there and it looks great. They need some younger people working there too.
I have been a customer of this salon for a very long time. This is the best salon in the area . It's a professional salon that knows how to treat their customers. I get my hair cut and colored here and even though the prices are on the higher side They are worth it. Many of the stylist have many years of experience . Some of the popular ones are Holly , Amy , And Eva. If you are new to the area or don't know which salon to switch to try this salon and you will be more than satisfied of the kind of service you will get at this salon.
If you are under 65 years old you might want to consider another salon. I paid $165 for a hideous box color and cut that went straight across from ear to ear. The only explanation I have is an incompetent and lazy stylist. I asked for highlights and lowlights, and got my hair washed in one color two shades too dark instead. I asked for a bob and came out with a short, straight across cut that looks like the hair of an Amish man. It is disappointing that the owner is on premises and pretends the quality of service is fine. Now my money is spent and it will be two years before the damage that was done in one hour can be repaired. You can do better at another salon.
I go here because I love the hairdresser Amy. She has been there for a long time and she is absolutely wonderful. She does my hair and both my kids. She is wonderful with my son, especially when he had his first hair cut when he was a year old. if you go, see Amy!
