PEARL NAILS in Pflugerville, TX

Everytime I get a set down my nails get moldy, nail tech said it moisture but the nails be a fresh set so how can moisture get under. This has happened both time I got brand new sets in a matter of days of getting the set. I'm starting to think their tools and products are not sanitized. I won't be returning.

This was my 2nd time at this place. The first time was several years ago like pre COVID times. I decided to give them another whirl since they are close to my home. I walked in around 6:20pm on Friday April 1st. I didn't realize they closed at 7pm. But I requested a mani and pedi and none of the 3 ladies there said anything about closing up soon. The pedi was good and no complaints on that end. My mani was rushed. At this point i picked up on the vibe after she kept starring at the clock. Not nice or pleasant at all. At times she came off as annoyed. I didn't realize they closed at 7pm until I walked to the counter to pay and realized I was the only one there and the other two employees were sitting in the spa/pedi chairs with their purses ready to go. I wished they would have said something and saved us all the uncomfortable feeling. I would have understood and just gotten the pedi. Anyway, As far as quality goes today is April 5th the pedi is still holding up okay. But my finger nails are horribly chipped. honestly expected at least a week out of them. Again I'm not even mad about it. It was a whole $16 for a basic manicure with regular polish, so I guess you get what you pay for. I just needed them for the weekend so I guess they served their purpose

This place gets 1 star because I can't leave it blank. Walking in it's a nice place. The mani and pedi both felt rushed. I left with acrylics that were pointing in different directions. I'm literally in tears while I'm writing this review! The lady who did my pedi began painting my nails and when I asked her if it was gel she got mad and began removing the polish. The other lady in there with her began a conversation and I may not have understood what was being said but I understand body language and they kept saying "gel". After I told her to just remove the polish Id go elsewhere, she began to yell at me. So I paid $88 for crooked nails with no polish on my toes. Now I'm at another salon getting the job corrected and finished. Save your money and spend it at a better salon!! Angel nails is down the street go there instead!!

I have been a big fan of this place, but my last visit was disappointing. Pedicure was great and the lady passed me off to another tech mid manicure. He couldn't care less, did a crappy paint job and I didn't get a massage or lotion. He had me put on my own cuticle oil. Not relaxing. Shame to to wrap up a good pedicure with a crappy manicure. There are too many other options to come back here.

Nicely decorated clean salon. Kimberly gave me an excellent pedicure and manicure, would highly recommend her. Quiet when I visited late morning mid week (which I prefer over the crowded and unventilated salon I picked up a brochure at recently down the street).
