Patricia Hill Color Studio in Kennesaw, GA

The day before my 21st birthday I made an appointment with another place to do my hair and as I showed up to my appointment they cancelled on me in the moment. By chance, I stumbled on Patricia Hill Color Studio, explained my situation and asked if there was any chance she had availability for the same day. She assured me I could come in the time that worked best for me which was a bit on the later side. I got partial color and gloss alongside styling and a haircut which all came out amazing! My hair took so much of their time and they did not need to do my hair that day, considering I booked so late but they went above and beyond for me and I could not be more grateful. I had a great time talking with Patricia and Brittany who were very welcoming and easy to talk to. I spent hours having good conversations as they worked on my hair and they even waited with me til my uber came (it was the night time at this point). It really shows how much they care for every individual client. 10/10 experience, great people, one of the best haircuts I have gotten and the color completely met my expectations. They really played a part in making my birthday memorable/special. If there is one thing you should take from this review is that you definitely should go!

Angela did such an amazing job!! I made the terrible mistake of using black box dye (I don't know what I was thinking, don't judge lol) and she was able to get it out and my hair was healthier than ever. Will be back, 10/10 recommend!

I have found my new salon! Patricia was amazing. Had my hair colored, cut, and extensions put in. There is a seamless transition between my hair and the extensions. Would highly recommend this salon to anyone!

Moving to the area from a different state and having had the same trusted stylist for over ten years was going to be a challenge or so I thought. I've had blonde hair my entire life but now into my sixty's it's a challenge to keep those beautiful cool tones without looking like I'm trying to look 30 again. Patricia did an absolutely beautiful job accomplishing just that my very first time in her chair. A few months later when I went back for another highlight/lowlight appointment our wires got crossed and I ended up with color I wasn't happy with. I'm not very good at expressing my dislike of something so I left the salon unhappy. A few days later I decided to contact Patricia and let her know and her reaction was nothing less than gracious, understanding and totally committed to making me happy with my hair. Not only did she ask me to come back she thanked me for giving her the opportunity to make it right. " I want you to be totally happy with your hair, I'm grateful to you for coming back" Patricia Hill and Kaylynn were truly professional, kind and totally understanding and willing to do whatever was needed to make me smile when I looked in the mirror. Reading some negative reviews I find it hard to believe those clients were at the same place but we all have different expectations....I expected to feel beautiful when I left and I did. Thank you!

Updated to ONE star following the UNPROFESSIONAL, BULLYING and LIBELOUS behavior I received from this salon following a simple charge dispute. PLEASE DO READ THE OTHER 1 STAR REVIEWS AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. If the salon has evidence of alleged "transparent discussions" related to costs (video, receipts or other) then when presented with this dispute, they could have readily responded to me with this evidence and we could have discussed. At least that's what a normal person would do but you will get anything but normal from these pariahs. Instead Patricia Hill, despite my requests for her to call me to discuss has refused to speak with me..at all. INSTEAD- the stylist Angela Hall has posted my name and image (without permission) on Instagram and has accused me of "theft of services" (see image below). As outlined in my original post, I have disputed the $120 hold for the consultation that was to be returned and not the $375 for the service and tip (see both charges from credit card statement below). That said, YES, you should BOLO (be on the look out) for me if 1) you are a stylist who can perform a cut and color for under $300 and is willing to receive a $100 tip then we can and will have a mutually beneficial relationship or 2) if you are a parasite (as in this case) who wants to take advantage of me as you will be challenged. I have posted the before and after pictures since the salon has not, just so you can see the extent of the service. Lastly, I never really understood the "Karen" thing but heard this mentioned quite a bit by Angela while I was having my hair done in reference to other clients that have crossed them. The definition of Karen is "a pejorative slang term for an obnoxious, angry, entitled, and often racist middle-aged white woman who uses her privilege to get her way or police other people's behaviors." I LOL because there is no better way to define this salon but a bunch of Karens.
