My wife and I came in for some hair cuts while on vacation in the area. Yes, it was cold and we had a deal, so it worked out very well! We came in for early appointments, so were first in line the day we came. We were welcomed, had the process and school explained, and received good quality hair cuts. Mostly basic (our choice) but very good for what they were! Maybe it depends on what you're expecting, but we would say it's worth a try for general cut and style, but you're also helping out those who earn credits only by serving customers. Can't speak to the academy as a school, but a good place to go as a customer.

It was ok, I'd go back to try their other services, such as massage therapy. My sister had a nail tech that was great. And I get that you are getting what you pay for, but my nail tech wasn't interested in doing my nails, rather talking about her problems. She kept forgetting what she was doing and don't even use a pumice or any kind of callus treatment for the spa pedicure.

I brought my 14 year old daughter in for highlights, a hair cut, and an eyebrow wax. She is 14, and I was completely against over my minor child having over all color. I overheard the stylist commenting that she did not need to follow the parents wishes, for my daughter "could have walked in by herself." I'm livid. Fellow parents, don't bother bringing your kids here. The stylists don't listen to either the client or the parent. And, it's even more enjoyable to hear the student talk smack about me as I sit a mere 15 feet away. Never again. Now, my kid has awful bright red hair. You ruined my child's hair.

Pretty horrible mani/pedi. My nails have been cut so short they're actually painful. The polish looks like my 7 year old niece painted it. The girl who worked on me was lovely and very nice. The problem is the students have zero supervision or instruction. I expected a teacher to at least pop over and inspect the end product, but no. I feel badly for the students. If you are considering going here as a customer or a student I strongly encourage you to reconsider. I've been MANY times to the 2 different cosmetology schools In Madison and never had unsatisfactory service.

Never impressed with these students. They never look like they want to be there and there is never an instructor to be found. All self centered.
