Pamper You Salon & Day Spa in Harrisburg, PA

I had been going to Pamper You Salon for years, everyone is nice, and the shop is clean. However, at my last appointment there was a slight 'oops' with my hair color. That's ok, we're all human, and I had faith that it would be fixed. However, by the time I left I felt awkward and certainly not appreciated as a client. I never received an apology for the mistake or the additional time it took to try to fix the dark blotch - twice. As the process ran into my stylist's next appointment time, I was shampooed by the owner to keep things moving. Another perfect opportunity for an apology or her assurance that it would be taken care of to my satisfaction. That's Customer Service 101. But she said nothing. It was awkward. As a matter of fact, at one point my stylist pointed out that you could only see the blotch from a certain angle and that since I didn't wear my hair that way it shouldn't matter. Was I wrong to want it fixed so you couldn't see it at all? Needless to say, I left feeling uncomfortable about the whole thing. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that maybe I'd get a follow-up call to see if everything was ok or maybe a coupon in the mail, something; but a week or two later - nothing. So I called to cancel my next appointment. I was prepared to share my feedback when they asked if I wanted to reschedule, but they didn't even ask. It seemed ok to cancel, just like that.

This shop is very clean and staff is very friendly. All stylist are very knowledgeable! They use Aveda products. These products are all natural! I have been coming here since they opened. Since the 90's. would not go anywhere else.

I had a wonderful experience here. I had gone twice to one of those chain hair salons, with pretty awful results. My hairdresser here, Lyndsey, by contrast, gave me a haircut that all but made me forget the others. I will be back.

Though it caters towards women mostly, I've found this place to give just as great of a hair cut for men if not better than the places I go to in DC. Price might be on the high side for Harrisburg for a guys hair cut, but its worth it if you are getting something other than a buzzcut. When I'm back in HBG, I ask for Lindsay..she's fantastic and one of the best stylists I've ever had.
