Palm Beach Tan in Greenville, SC

I went in to cancel my membership and they told me I was going to be billed for the next month, i understand why, but I was NEVER made aware of this when I first signed up. Very frustrated by the lack of communication.

I used to go to the Ultratan before it changed to Palm beach. I had the silver package and it was $35/month. When Ultratan took over, they raised the prices and level of the beds so I had to buy the gold membership to get the same beds but it was almost twice as much. So I decided to go with the $15/month package. When I first started with this package, I was able to pick from 4 beds: 2 stand ups or 2 lay downs. About 2 weeks ago, when I tried to use the stand up bed, I was told those beds are no longer included in that package. Apparently corporate performed an audit at this location and said this was a mistake that they didn't catch for 6 months... This was very frustrating because I had already canceled my membership and wasn't able to use the stand up beds for the remainder of my time. I usually cancel for the winter and restart my membership in the spring but I will not be going back to this scam of a place. They raised prices even higher on all the packages so looks like I will be finding somewhere else to go from now on. I hate that I have to cancel because the associates working there are wonderful. None of this was their fault and they did what they could to help me.

All I wanted was to lay in a good bed for 2 consecutive days.  $80 for 2 days???  Are you kidding me??  They must up the price when the students are in session at Clemson, because no one I know would pay $80 to lay for 2 days!  The students must have their Mom and Dad's credit card!  
This is highway robbery!

In June, I quit palm beach tan after a few months as a member.  I had used this salon under ultra tan ownership for 12 years which was great.   Even  though the price was higher with palm beach,   i planned to make this my new home salon because  I liked the location, beds, and staff was always friendly.    Unfortunately, the some of the staff with  palm beach were rude.   I wish I could remember the name of this tall big-boned young woman who I had to deal with  often.  She made it clear to me that Palm Beach tanning didn't value my business as a customer paying $89 per month.    i will say she was really happy and thanked me when I said I wanted to cancel my membership.     I guess I'll go to Exotic Tan down the road.   It is not as conveniently located, but worth it to not have to deal with that rude person.

Palm Beach Tan Sucks!!!!! it is RIDICULOUS to make you wait 24 hours PLUS 1 minute before you can tan the next day!!!! There should be some kind of adjustments to this rule!!!! People do work and have a life!!! They should be more concerned about these junk beds they have! The buttons to adjust the face tanners, fans etc either don't work or are missing!!!! I hope another company comes to SC and puts them out of business!!!! I am only giving 1 Star because there is no zero!!!!
