Pacific brides does more than brides! Our daughter turned 13 last week, and she's been trying on all kinds of makeup... poorly. As a surprise for her 13th birthday, we hired Ryann to come to the house for a 2 hour "new teen makeup tutorial" for our daughter and her best friend, it was a HUGE hit! Ryann was funny and fun, and did two great looks on each of them, a casual, age appropriate look, and then went big glam for a fancy look. When life returns to normal, we will definitely be having her back to do something for dances and proms, or other big nights. Apparently she also does great hair styling as well, we're looking forward to trying that too. Also, we felt very comfortable, they have absolutely tip top excellent COVID protocols. Ryann was double-masked, wearing a face shield, had all new brushes, bleached everything as she went along, etc. Thanks Ryann and Sheilynn!

No awkward silence. If you do want the details, read below. I was looking for a natural glam for my engagement shoot and that is exactly what Shyn delivered. Scrolling through the instagram photos you can see how diverse their clients are and how the makeup looks on each variety of skin tones. Being Asian, it was important to me to find someone who knew how to work with Asian hair and specifically do makeup on Asian eyes. If you are Asian, you know what I am talking about. Our natural hair sometimes struggles with curls and our eye lids and shape can be a struggle for a non experienced MUA. Being new to this process and having never gotten my makeup done before by someone other than a sales person at Sephora and this was a real treat. When you arrive, Shyn takes the time to make sure she has prepped your skin thoroughly before starting with the makeup. She even takes the time to create your own foundation concoction which will match your skin color perfectly. To me, flawless skin is a must for every bride and bride-to-be. I can already tell you that my skin looks soooo good in the sneak peak photos I received. I seriously wish she could do my make up every day. Not only is she great at makeup, she is bomb at hair! My one request was not to look like a mushroom head with my short hair. Something that a lady doing my hair earlier this year made me look like. I had a picture ready to show her just in case she needed it, which she did not, and got those soft perfect waves for my short hair that I had wanted.

Shyn did an amazing job for my wedding hair and makeup. She made me feel totally comfortable and I had a lot of fun during my time with her. She was both personable and professional and made the process easy with her straight forward communication and online/email resources. She was by far the best of all of the vendors that I worked with during my wedding planning process. I initially tried to cheap out and go with some questionable hair and makeup vendors to save a few bucks but I am so glad I came to my senses and just hired Shyn, a true professional all around. If there's one thing you want as a bride it's to feel beautiful on your special day. Plus did I mention she drove something like 6 hours to get to my venue? That's amazing, Shyn is very talented and I am really lucky I was able to schedule her for my wedding. Thank you so much you made me feel like a Queen!

I absolutely loved getting my hair & makeup styled by Shyn on my wedding day! She worked brilliantly well with me in the weeks leading up to the wedding as I pinpointed my look and felt overwhelmed by my options. She was able to key in with precision on the look I was envisioning, and was not only professional but a blast to be with! I literally can't even begin to describe how much more relaxed of a bride I was due to knowing Shyn was going to make me look flawless on the morning of my wedding and OH MY GOD she did, she did, she did! I have never gotten my hair or makeup done by anyone ever (in my 29 and a half years of existence) and liked it UNTIL Shyn. She spent much of the getting ready time making my skin feel smooth as butter and ensuring that my skin care was on pointe in effort to insure long-lasting makeup application.
