Jonathan switched me from a brunette to a red head last July & I am still loving it!! Best change I've made in a long time & best hair stylist I've ever known!
Jonathan's the only person I let do my hair-- the first time I went to see him (on a friend's recommendation) he cut off a foot of hair. That cut grew out for a YEAR and looked good and healthy every step of the way-- the layers didn't look weird, the cut stayed cohesive at every length. That just shows how skilled he is!
Horrible nightmare of an experience at Nuckle's Salon. I went in to get my roots touched up and for a few more highlights. I walked out with a chemical burn on my scalp, bleached roots significantly lighter than the rest of my color, and various shades of white/blonde, orange, darker blonde in the back from where the color had partially bleached and ran down my hair. It was the worst experience I've ever had. The stylist felt terrible, but the owner did NOTHING. He didn't even offer up an apology!?!?! I came back for it to be fixed (to the stylist's credit, she offered to do whatever she could to make things right, but so much damage to my hair had already been done :((( Second attempt of her 'fixing' it resulted in a total 180 to dark BROWN hair except for platinum bangs. Needless to say, I drove home sobbing. All I wanted was my normal blonde hair back! Next day, I went back for the last time b/c she agreed again that it was her mistake and she couldn't figure out what was wrong/ I went to have have anything possible done so I could be seen in public, and ended up with somewhat normal looking blonde hair, but also so much chemical damage that tons of hair keeps breaking off. My hair is back to an acceptable color, but I miss what used to be my healthy long hair. I might have to get it cut off and regrow b/c now it's just lifeless and super-thin in places. AND, my scalp is still trying to heal, so huge flakes of dead skin keep peeling off!!!! Do yourself a favor and stay FAR away from this salon. PLEASE.
