I complained about the dirty station because nail salons should be clean and sanitized. The technician did not sanitize her hands before touching me. She seemed agitated when I did not have cash! When I shared my concern about uncleanliness, the mgr. did not receive it well and told me that I was the only one to say that, in a nasty tone. I will never return to this dirty, junky shop!
Walked in, they had a sign that says, cash for under $10, doesn't accept American Express. When I tried to pay, handed her my card, and saved $ for a cash tip. When I went to pay, they told me cash only. I told them I didn't see a sign, but then they kept pressuring me to pay cash, asking me how much cash I had in my wallet.I did have cash, that they could see, and kept telling me to pay something in cash. My nails $80 Basic Pedicure, gel manicure, and a kid's polish for fingers and toes. I ended up paying $40 in cash and the rest on my card. I didn't appreciate how, with no sign, they (2 women) were arguing with me to use cash. Plus, my nails aren't even filed evenly.
I stopped going here because the owner was the only one who could do powder dip nails. She is a rather nasty person who also caused me to bleed when doing the manicure.
My first time here today and Ann did an amazing job. They were super nice about helping a nail salon newbie figure out what to do with my nails. Friendly ladies as well. I will be back!
The prices are not consistent. I went for a gel polish change and this time they charged me $5.00 to take old polish off. I would think and "polish change" would include taking off old polish. The tech argues that she had charged that in the past but I know what I paid before! Needless to say she did not get a tip today and I will go elsewhere because of her attitude.
