I always enjoy my time at nails 1st. I have had appointments with several of the technicians and have always been pleased. Very family friendly atmosphere with little to no turn over. My nails always look great!!
This is my first time here and needless to say, i'm very happy! Tracy was extra delicate with my hands. She pays really close attention to detail and takes her time to leave your nails perfect!
Unfortunately I had a bad experience here. There was only 1 customer in the salon when I came in and I had to wait for someone to take me at their station. There were minimal choices on dip colors. I was cut when they used the buffer on my finger. I ended up with sandpaper like nails and when I questioned it, they tried to "fix it." I still walked out with uneven and rough nails. In addition, I picked a peach color and that's non-existent. My nails look completely naked.
While my pedicure was ok, my nail tech was rushed and not personable. I got the pink and white dipped and my nails are rough and not very smooth. It was also way overpriced! I would suggest going somewhere else.
I went in person to book an appointment for 3 people the morning of the birthday treat. They checked their book and gave us a time of 4pm; all set for a great evening... we arrived at 3:55 picked our polish and sat down. No one acknowledged our presence, there were 4 other clients in the salon, one finished and 3 being worked on; ok timing pedicures isn't an exact science so we chatted and waited. 15 minutes later still no one had spoken to us and the two pedis that looked like they were finishing were actually on their way to a mani as well. We asked and they sad sorry... - basically it's your problem and we don't care!
So the message is don't bother booking at 1st Nails and because they don't need your business enough to even talk to you or rearrange the start time. We went to DK Nails, got excellent service and I have 2 happy daughters as a result!
