Nails & Hair City in San Jose, CA

(Writing my review months after) asked for a French tip set but her design was incredibly too thick as they covered almost half of my entire nail, very unflattering. She was also very rough while filing which caused bleeding. The reason I am writing this review is because months later my nails are still damaged from this nail set. I don't know what she did and how harsh her chemicals are but they caused my nails to dip and have indentations. I understand that after a manicure nails can get thin, but I have never had dents on my nails before. Also lady was very rude, I politely asked if she could move the small detail on my nail slightly as it was uncentered, and she told me that if I was going to be too particular then I should've stayed home and done it myself.

the worst haircut i have ever gotten and such a horrible experience. she was so rough with my hair it felt like she was about to tear it off. i couldn't even see how she was doing my hair because she wouldn't put the seat high enough and didn't even let me look at my hair in the mirror after it was done. just terrible please do not come here.

Went for a haircut, I'm a guy and I have been cutting my own hair for a bit (couple years). Had low expectations but was really surprised. Great cut Great price Really friendly owners I'll be back!9

Called ahead and were able to take me right away. Great service. They did my nails fast and efficiently even gave me cold water. Nails turned out beautifully and I will definitely be back!

Doan is the best! I moved out of the Bay Area for a few years now and Iv been to so many nail salons here around my place in the Central Valley. None clean my toes good except for her. Unfortunately I was born with jacked up toes that easily have ingrown toenails. Doan is not afraid to get up in there and she's the only one that does the job right! I'm willing to drive 1.5 hours just to get a pedicure. The place is clean and their bathroom is clean. They even give complementary water, coffee, tea or soda with fruit gummies. Husband is cool too. They are friendly people! I always leave the place feeling like my toenails look somewhat decent and pretty. Doan is all around too she does nails, haircut, color and wax but for me she really excels in her expertise in the ingrown business! Kinda gross but hey it's true!!! I needed to share my review because she deserves the recognition! Make an appointment because it's mostly all her but it's worth it because when you're there she takes her time you never feel rushed and I always feel special because of that!
