Nail Trix in Bloomington, IL

I got a manicure and a pedicure here and the women inside of this establishment is the worst I've ever been in. I spent almost $90 and the lady inside of this place was so rude they don't speak to you they didn't talk to you they don't try to make your visit pleasant at all. This is the worst place the young man that was here was very nice but because of the women inside of this establishment, I will not return if you want to be treated like a queen for the time that you spend getting your feet and nails done, go somewhere where they appreciate your business and your service this place is the worst. I will never return here again.

Clean and quick, even on a Saturday afternoon! We stopped in for quick manicures for three while visiting family and had a great experience. Very clean. No frills or extra options on the manicures (not sure on pedicures) but they did a good job on both natural and acrylic nails and they do offer regular and gel options.

I got a full set of acrylics here a few weeks ago. The guy was nice enough, but it seemed like he was rushing through doing my nails. He was sloppy with the polish and didn't bother to clean it up at all, and he also cut one of my cuticles, it was even bleeding. I was kind of upset, but I still gave him a nice tip and told myself it was a one time thing and he must have just been having a busy day. I went back today to get the nails removed (Really big mistake). The same man that did my nails removed them, and he used another nail to peel them off of my fingers. It hurt soooo bad. Like so bad that I yelped and expressed to him that I was in pain, and he kept doing it. It felt like my nail was being ripped off my finger. After one nail, I asked him if he could just do something else to remove them. He had me soak my nails in a bowl of heated acetone solution instead - and afterwards, the bowl of acetone had pieces of my mushy old acrylics floating around in it. A lady came and put that acrylic back into the original bottle that it came out of, which leads me to believe they reuse it. Pretty gross. When I left, I felt a lot of pain in one of my fingers and realized that my nail was not just broken, but the nail bed was injured as well. I'm in a lot of pain now, and I'm really disappointed in the entire experience. I don't really like to complain about places or write negative reviews, but this place was really bad. I can't believe that I paid money for this experience and I would recommend going somewhere else.

My daughter just got acrylics for the first time. Nail Trix was recommended to us. She is absolutely thrilled with the finished product. They were very helpful and sweet with her. Clean store and exactly what she asked for. Thank you!! We will definitely be back.

I got a full set here and the guy doing my nails kept swatting me with the nail file if I moved. He was nice and tried to be funny, but I was taken aback that he would do that to customers. I did like the prices and thought they were fair and the employees all seemed nice. My nails turned out great at the end, too. One thing that would help this business is if they got more nail polish options - compared to other salons I've been to, they only had about 1/4 of the options and colors.
