Nail Spa in Georgetown, SC

Sloppy work. Dirty. They use the same tools (not sterilized or disinfected) on every client. I would never step foot in this place again.

I went there after taking a break from nail salons for a few years. I did my nails myself. Barely any customer service, didn't know how to do a Ballerina shape. I had to reshape them when I got home. Nails start breaking within two days. Decided to return just because that's where I've always gone. It was worse the second time. Nails broke that same night. I left there with my nails looking like talons. I do not recommend. I'm sure others have had a better experience but I wouldn't return.

My mother WAS going to this nail salon.  She was a regular until I visited her a month ago and saw the condition of her nails on both hands. My mother always had well manicured nails. What I saw was disgusting. Her nails on both hands had a black fungus growing on them. She told me that she noticed it after a nail appointment at the Nail Spa.  She returned and addressed it with the nail technique who dismissed it but then proceeded to do her nails again and again as it was spreading. This is concerning because she was not only making the situation with my mother's nails worse but she was also putting other clients at risk. My mother's nails were so gross and covered in the black fungus. She went to the dermatologist they provided her a prescription and noted concerns about her getting her nails done. We were devastated.

There is clearly a sanitation issue with this nail salon. I would advise anyone who is being serviced by this business to be mindful of sanitation and disinfectant techniques. Be mindful that the tools are sterilized or in new wrappers. Make sure that they are not using the same tools on others and that includes drilling. Ask them to wear gloves as nail issues can be spread from a nail tech touching someone and touching your hand.....or from the nail tech.  After seeing my mother's nails they should have taken precautions to sanitize their salon AND they should NOT have proceeded with doing her nails AGAIN. There was no recommendation from them for her to seek medical advice/treatment, they just kept making nail appointments with her. Clearly their goal is to make money at the expense of their customers. They deserve 0 stars.

I would not recommend anyone to this business. The guy who did my girlfriends manicure was very rude and acted like a smart ass the whole time. We showed him pictures of some pretty basic nails and he said nope don't have they color or nope too complicated we don't do complicated here that's not what you come here for. Then we should him a basic design with a different shape and he said nope but if he does it then 25 extra dollars. It was a horrible experience and he made it very uncomfortable to be in the business. If I could give zero stars I would. I wouldn't recommend.

So yesterday I walked in to get a pedicure only this young guy the son I guess. Came to the front counter as I was signing in to ask what was I having done today. I said a pedicure two ladies came in after me the lady said eyebrows arch and manicure and pedicure he took her in front of me, I guess I was not spending enough money for him and then telling me that it would be 45 minutes to an hour and 45 minutes before someone could get to me, I might want to come back on tomorrow. And it was him and one other person working in the place yesterday. I forgot what the other lady wanted done. Plus the fact that he said he was waiting on two clients to come in really made me mad. My kids would go there and get gift certificates for me and now I am to the point they will never and I mean never get my business or my money ever again. He was very rude on yesterday 9/6/2022. I will never recommend no one to go there I would send them somewhere else for much better service the service yesterday doesn't deserve any stars. I am one and done with this place. He left a bad taste in my mouth for this business. Get some customer service skills man. You mess with the wrong person on yesterday. I should have recorded the way how he was talking. You can't treat people that way and still run a business. Zero stars. I had to give a star in order to post this complaint.
