I made an appointment at nail gallery in Chanhassen to get dip, color dip to be specific. I went in five minutes early and waited for my appointment time. The woman at the first chair literally talked me out of the service. I told her I really wanted them done and she said I didn't need them done. I told her I did not like the color dip that I had and really wanted to get them redone. I didn't care what it cost. I have never seen som a shop owner talk you out of the service. I was not thrilled when I left. This is a business correct? I'm scratching my head.
Went in there on a Friday morning for a gel manicure and pedicure and they were busier but insisted on taking me in- long story short, I basically paid $60 (before tip) to get my nails painted- no massage, filing, etc. which was extremely disappointing because, being a new mom, all I was looking forward to was a little bit of time away from my child and a foot rub but that didn't happen- I didn't get to even soak my feet! :-( So disappointed! I understand it's hard to turn away business but don't take more people in or go on a bit of a wait if you aren't able to give the full on service!
I have been getting my nails done here for a few years. Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and they get your nails done quick and efficiently. I constantly get compliments on my nails and tell everyone where I get them done- Nail Gallery. Several of my friends go see Kim now too. Definitely go check them out, you will not be disappointed.
I use to be a regular customer and they treated me so well and super accommodating to me as a loyal guest! I took some time off from the nails only to decide to return after a year! I thought they would be grateful upon my return as I am a generous tipper! This was NOT THE CASE!! I received a dip powder manicure which was $40 but no soaking of the hands , nor cuticle clipping except for when Kathi cut me with drill and no moisturizing hand massage!! I felt very unwelcome and unfriendly from entire nail techs!! Not only do I feel like got ripped off but received not a full service professional manicure! Day 2 and looks like a 3 wk manicure !!!!! Correct me if I am wrong but this is not what I paid for !!
