I absolutely recommend DS Nails in Chanhassen! Donna is so friendly and somehow remembers everyone. The technician that does my nails is really incredible. She takes care to get it 100% right. My dip powder nails last 5-6 weeks on average.
I really wanted to love them. Our pedicures were pretty good. But our manicures were not great. Not what either of us asked for, and very overpriced. Will not be going back unfortunately.
I cannot say enough good things about this salon. For years I've been trying different salons because I don't feel like they ever get it right, cut me, or charge insane prices. I decided to try out DS today, and I am so happy I did. Owner immediately greeted me at the door and even remembered my name from calling earlier in the day. She made conversation with me and had me in a chair within a minute of walking in. I briefly showed the nail tech what I wanted, and she got right to work! I did a Dip manicure with small extensions. I typically do acrylic but I'm trying to step away as it damages my brittle nails quickly. I also explained to her that I have a couple cuts and a ripped nail as well, and she was so careful with me! She also kept checking with me to see how I liked the length, shape, and overall product. I couldn't be happier with the result. Only $60 as well!Love Love LOVE this place!
I was very displeased at the treatment I was getting at place I had gone to for a long time. Read the reviews, took a chance and couldn't be happier! Donna the owner is pleasant, welcoming and her staff is just as nice. Paula is my tech and I'm so pleased. She is accommodating and easy to talk to...a great atmosphere makes my time like a mini-vaca!
After sitting under the nail dryer I was told that I was good to go. In just a few minutes my manicure was running down to my knuckles. They would not give me a refund. They were rude and said I could come back for a free manicure like I actually would do that! There is a very severe language barrier and I couldn't understand them and they couldn't understand me. I only wish that I had taken a picture to save you from a waste of time and a waste of money. There are much better places to go in Chanhassen
