I used to go here when I was working in Dothan a couple of years ago. When I came back and decided I wanted a manicure with dipped powder color, I went here. It was not the same service and product that it used to be! I asked for a manicure because my cuticles were in need of some TLC. The only time that my cuticles were touched was when the tech ground them with the grinder. My cuticles look worse now that when I walked in there. My "manicure" consisted of shaping my nails and color. Never again!
Usually I'm very impressed when the lady that runs the place does my nails but the guy in the 3rd desk over did them in the coffin shape. Never asked how long I wanted them, so after he'd already cut them I had to ask him to cut them again. They came unglued quite a few times due to him only grinding 5 of my nails bc he went to answer a phone call. He made them look crooked when he filed them to look like the coffin shape, then cut me w the file. Also cut my thumb w the grinder after the nails were on. Last but not least one of my nails popped off that night not very happy at all
I usually have a great experience with Nail Essence but it has slowly been disappointing me. Last week I went to get my nails done for graduation. All i wanted was a set of acrylics with regular polish and a coffin shape. As i sat down, it took about 10 minutes for anyone to start on my nails. A man started gluing on the tips and then moved me to a lady who tried to file the tips down and ended up breaking four of them that were not glued right. not impressed and will most likely be changing my nail place after that.

Due to dissatisfaction with three other salons in the area, I tried Nail Essence. I didn't have the typical hour long wait. Sooh or Suh (pronounced Sue) did a spectacular job on my nails and was very personable. This is now my salon of choice. They take walk ins and appointments.
