The relationship I have this nail salon is longer and more committed than any romantic relationship I've ever had. In the many years I've been getting my nails done here I have NEVER had a bad experience. They listen to what you want and do an outstanding job. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Highly recommend visiting this place.
WORST. MANICURE. EVER.
Went in for a basic manicure as a treat to myself, and was told there was a half hour wait. I wasn't in a rush so I waited, even though the place reeked of acetone (if only I'd just left then). After half an hour, I kept asking when they could see me and they kept saying "10 minutes, 10 minutes". I ended up waiting for AN HOUR. I finally sat down with a woman who seemed like she was totally out to lunch- it seemed like she'd never done a manicure before. She worked so slowly and so poorly I almost reached over and did it myself. I kept telling her that they weren't smooth and that she'd missed spots, and she blamed it on the polish (even if that was the case, maybe buy new polish?). She took it all off and started again, this time with a different polish from the one I'd chosen. Same story- slow and sloppy. She then asked me if I wanted her to start over again, at which point I'd been at the salon for almost TWO HOURS, so I said I didn't have the time to start all over a third time. She called over a woman who I'm guessing is the manager, and the manager agreed that it was a botched job and she'd get someone else to paint my nails. Another girl comes over and paints my nails a third time- granted she was better than the first, but I honestly could have done the job myself just as well. I got up to go and the manager came up to me behind the counter and told me she'd give me a "discount" aka $2 off. I wish I hadn't paid for it at all. After being in there for TWO AND A HALF HOURS, I was in such a rush to get where I was going that I ended up ruining my nails within 5 minutes of getting the manicure.
Unbelievable waste of time and money. Go elsewhere.
Vivian is an amazing nail tech. She is the owner and she's always so nice and gives you exactly what you want. I had her do my nails for my sisters wedding and I was amazed with what she came up with. She's professional and you can tell she cares about your nails.
