Nail Boutique and Spa in Birmingham, AL

I always have a great experience at Nail Boutique. I have been going there for quite some time and it is by far my favorite nail salon. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and care about their customers. They do an excellent job and I always leave with exactly what I ask for. So happy to have them in the Mt. Laurel community. I would highly recommend.

The worst pedicure I have ever had. First off, when I came in and asked for a pedicure they never told me the potential wait.  A kid, I'm assuming the owners son-probably 10yrs old, started the water and was serving alcohol! I should've left then because I honestly didn't know if they expected him to do nails too. Not sure which would have been worse. ..There is no way that the elderly woman who assisted me was licensed to do nails. She kept trying to put my feet back in cold water. She didn't know how to use clippers and my nails were jagged. She even tried using them upside down and used a flimsy nail file. She used so much of their product during the "spa" portion that it really looked like she was just winging it. She used a highly abrasive scrubber for my nails, except she just scraped my skin off so that I was bleeding. I tried to intervene and tell her to stop, but she just pointed out at the room at someone because she doesn't speak English. She went to start painting the base coat and I stopped her to request that she straighten my jagged nails out.  A man came over and did his best. Then she painted the base coat very poorly. She then got up and walked away. Five minutes later I asked the room " is someone going to paint my nails?" They looked around for her not knowing where she was and a different man left his client to come reshape my nails and paint them.  This took a total of 2 hours! And noone offered a discount or free for all the trouble. I've attached a picture of the jagged nails before correction and a picture 3 days after of my cuts. My three year old would've given me the same quality pedicure, I'm positive.

Do not waste your money, your time, or the skin off your toes.

So thankful to have them in our neighborhood. Ignore that terrible review by the no picture, one review, "out of towner"... go back to where you came from. ‍ More foot massages for me!

I stopped at this establishment on a Sunday, as a guest from out of town for a gel pedicure.  Mislead by the reviews and the modern aesthetics of the property, I unfortunately had a TERRIBLE experience.

My pedicure tech was very inexperienced. My feet were left dry, rough, and nails were cut unevenly. I attempted to speak with the manager who did little to resolve the issue but instead attempted to convince me that it was normal.

Management's attention to the quality of services and customer service complaints is horrible. I was so displeased, I just left with clear polish, which I have NEVER done in my 15+ years of getting pedicures.  As a nail salon business owner it is critical to have staff that are well trained and knowledgeable of basic pedicure procedures. I left here regretting that I ever found this location. The location

Please DO NOT consider this establishment for a pedicure especially if you have standards and are expecting quality services, as it is a waste of money.
