N T Nail & Spa in Fayetteville, NC

Went there for the first time and loved the atmosphere and the price.  Found my forever nail shop!

No wait, clean salon, good service and pedicure. Came in on a Saturday at noon for the first time as a walk in and was pleasantly surprised. My nail tech took the time to make sure that everything was how I liked it, especially the length of my nails, as I was pretty picky about that.

Horrible experience in how I was treated by the male Nail Tech. I have been a customer for 5 years here. My Nail Tech goes on maternity leave, so I decide to come and give the other Nail Tech a chance (he is the only male in this salon). He has seen me over these five years coming every two weeks for nails and once a month for pedicure. I wait patiently for two hours, granted, he's busy and I understand that. When is finally my turn I asked for an all white acrylic nail. Simple right? He started applying the acrylic and then switched to clear on top creating uneven shadings of white in the nail. At that moment when he put it on the first nail I told him: "please use the white acrylic for all nail, I will pay for it." He said: this is how I do them, I'll fix the shades later. I tell him: "I don't want nail polish on top, please" and he just ignored me and kept on doing the nails. When I see he keeps going and filing and squaring them I asked how he was going to fix the shading, to which he responded: "they look good to me"... he said that if I didn't like them, he could pu nail polish on them. I told him that I specifically said that I didn't want nail polish. I told him: "can I ask you a question? (in a very calmed low tone curious voice), why didn't you want to do what I was asking? Why didn't you want to use the white acrylic if I said I would pay for it?". He responded: "I'm not my sister (my Nail Tech Phoung), I will do the way I want to do them as always. If you don't like them I can remove them in acetone and you can leave without paying". This was said in a very blunt manner. I was so startled and confused I told him: "I don't understand why you are treating me this way, you know I'm a loyal customer for five years" (at this point I'm feeling it and my soul feels so sad and disappointed, tears start to come out). He didn't care, he started talking with his mom in korean and that was it. I paid, told the mom I was not leaving happy that day and she chuckled as she closed the door behind me. There is only one person in this place that cares for the customer: Phoung.

I always come here I absolutely love the people and they always do a great job. They recently updated their salon and it looks great. I highly recommend this nail salon.

I have been going to Nt for years and have been satisfied.  But, they are too busy and need to hire more people.  If I go first thing in the morning when they first open, most of the 4 people are not there working.  So, for the last 3 times I have gone, it has been too busy and not everyone working, then I leave.  They advertise appointments but that never works there.  Up your game, there is lots of competition out there!
